Liverpool have four games to attempt to climb back into the Premier League`s top four. They begin this battle with a home clash against Queens Park Rangers.

Brendan Rodgers` men currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League, seven points off Manchester United in fourth and level on points with sixth placed Tottenham. The Reds are also only one point better off than seventh placed Southampton. The result of this is that whilst there is no way of Liverpool catching United even with a win over Rangers, they could close the gap on them to four points. Failing to get the better of the London side would, however, see the Anfield outfit usurped by both Spurs and Southampton.

At the other end of the table, Queens Park Rangers are scrapping for Premier League survival. Chris Ramsay`s men currently sit in 19th in the top tier of English football, one of three clubs in the relegation places. Despite this Rangers are only four points from safety and could reduce this gap to a mere point with a win over Liverpool tomorrow. Otherwise, a loss could see the Hoops seven points worse off than 17th placed Leicester and in danger of being cut adrift.

The two clubs last met in October in the reverse Premier League fixture at Loftus Road. QPR, the hosts on this occasion, were still under the premiership of former manager Harry Redknapp and fell to a 3-2 defeat.

Despite the high volume of goals, neither of the two sides had been able to hit the back of the net in the match`s first half. The deadlock was eventually broken just over 20 minutes into the second 45 as Richard Dunne hit an own goal to put Liverpool in the lead. Eduardo Vargas would level up for the home side just three minutes from full time.

In what was a frantic period of injury time, Philippe Coutinho put the Reds back in front before a Steven Gerrard own goal restored parity. A third own goal, this time from Steven Caulker, meant that the North West club walked away from the match-up with all three points.

Both Betvictor and ladbrokes have 28/1 on Liverpool winning by three goals to two at home tomorrow afternoon with Betbright`s 29/4 the price on exactly five goals being hit within the 90 minutes of time. Whilst three own goals were seen in the two clubs` last encounter, paddy Power have a massive 7/1 on one or more being seen in Saturday`s clash.

The home club`s superior league position and previous good form over Queens Park Rangers means that it is they who are the favourites to pick up all three points from tomorrow`s game. Brendan Rodgers` men can be backed at the best price of 2/5 at all of betfair, betfred, Stan James and william hill. Conversely, supporters of the underdog will find the visitors at 9/1 at both bet365 and Betvictor. A handful of bookmakers have 17/4 on the game ending tied.

Liverpool`s defeat at the hands of Hull City last Tuesday saw them without a win in either of their last two Premier League clashes. They also failed to hit the back of the net in either of these games. bet365 have a massive 9/1 on a QPR clean sheet being kept with 17/1 (Betvictor) the best price on a Rangers win to nil. The Reds home form is much better been able to pick up all three points in five of their last six Anfield fixtures.

Tomorrow`s visitors are currently two games without a defeat away from Loftus Road. A 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion and a 3-3 draw with Aston Villa means that they have also scored seven goals in these last two away matches. Both bet365 and Spreadex have 16/1 on QPR scoring over 2.5 times against Liverpool.
