Premier League

Premier League new boys Burnley will be out to cause a shock when they welcome title contenders Arsenal to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

Burnley can break into top 10 with a win

After putting high-flyers Liverpool to the sword with a 2-0 win in game week two, Burnley now have chance to frustrate another top team when last season`s Premier League runners-up pay a visit to Turf Moor in Sunday. If they can pull off another upset, they will also elevate themselves into the top half of the rankings.

Sean Dyche`s men will be coming into this game full of confidence after beating second-termers Watford 2-0 at home last week. They have conceded just two goals on home soil this season and have lost just one of their last 17 competitive home matches at Turf Moor. That defeat came against Swansea City on the opening day.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have recovered from their patchy start to the season by winning their last four Premier League matches in a row. In addition, they thrashed Nottingham Forest 4-0 away from home in the League Cup and cruised to a 2-0 home win over Basel in the Champions League in midweek.

In their last four competitive matches, the Gunners have scored 13 goals and conceded just one. In their last league match, they beat Chelsea 3-0 and could go second with a win on Sunday depending on other results. Away from home, they have not been beaten in their last eight Premier League encounters.

Team news

Burnley`s striking options are still limited with Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray both still out of action. With just five goals scored this season, the Clarets will be hoping that those two can return to actiuon as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the visitors are still managing a significant injury list featuring Chuba Akpom, Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin, Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck. Despite their injury problems, Arsenal seem to be coping well without some key squad players.

Betting odds and tips

Burnley have struggled for goals all season and still have a lack of attacking options thanks to injuries to key forward players.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been scoring at a rate only bettered by Liverpool and Manchester City.
