Tonight`s (2nd December, 19:45) game between Burnley and Newcastle sees the home side looking to extend their three game unbeaten run. The Magpies are hoping to bounce back to the form that saw them win six on the trot after incurring a defeat last time out.

Sean Dyche`s Clarets racked up back-to-back victories to lift them off the foot of the table for the first time since October. Ashley Barnes scored the only goal of the match in their win over Hull City at home prior to Danny Ings grabbing two early goals in the team`s 2-1 away at Stoke. Hitting dizzying heights following an injury that kept him out of the start of the season, Ings also hit the back of the net against Aston Villa on Saturday. The Championship Player of the Year had to convert a late penalty three minutes from time to stop the home side from snatching all three points as Joe Cole put Paul Lambert`s men in front just minutes before half time.

Burnley`s top scorer, Ings is the 19/10 (Bwin) favourite to score at any time tonight. Eleven to two (boylesports) says the 22-year-old will break the deadlock whilst it`s 11/1 (unibet) if you think he can score his second brace of the season.

Newcastle came unstuck away at West Ham last time out failing to score a goal for the first time in seven games in all competitions in their 1-0 defeat. Aaron Cresswell netted just 10 minutes after the break to send his side in the lead. With Burnley 1/3 to not keep a clean sheet, most punters assume that the Magpies` profligacy at Upton Park was a mere blip.

A player who many are backing to hit the back of the net is Ayoze Perez who scored three times during the North East club`s streak of six games without dropping a point. Perez is available at 5/2 (32red, 888sport, unibet) to score at any time. Newcastle will have to do without the similarly in-form Moussa Sissoko who is suspended for this match-up.

The Spaniard Perez scored the winner in his club`s unlikely toppling of Tottenham. Sammy Ameobi grabbed the first just seconds after half time after Emanuel Adebayor put Spurs in front during the first 45. This game followed Newcastle`s first win of the season at home to Leicester. Gabriel Obertan struck the only goal of that match.

The St James Park outfit`s third consecutive win came away at Premier League champions Manchester City in the League Cup. Youngster Rolando Aarons opened the scoring whilst Moussa Sissoko put the game to bed with two minutes remaining. Perez found his name on the scoresheet in back-to-back Premier League games, providing the only goal in a 1-0 win over Liverpool and hitting the first away at West Bromwich Albion. Fabriccio Coloccini doubled the deficit in the 2-0 victory.

Suspended Sissoko was the difference in the side`s clash with Queens Park Rangers. The 25-year-old hit his second of the season past Robert Green in the 1-0 win at Loftus Road. Alan Pardew`s Toon are the 7/4 (bet365, Betvictor, Bwin, Coral) favourites to get back to winning ways at Turf Moor tonight. This is in spite of having first-choice goalkeeper Tim Krul out with an injured ankle and both midfielders Sissoko and Jack Colback suspended. A bunch of other players including Aarons, Mehdi Abeid, Coloccini and Daryl Janmaat are doubts for the match.

A home win can be backed at 9/5 with most bookmakers. Michael Duff (calf) is their only injury doubt. Twenty-three to ten (Numerous) says the game will end a draw.
