Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City will be looking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool last weekend by seeing off Leicester City at home tomorrow. City currently sit in second, five points behind leaders Chelsea who have a game in hand. A surprising defeat against the bottom club at home could see the Sky Blues come within a point of dropping into third and two of falling to fourth should both Arsenal and Manchester United pick up all three points in their respective matches.

Leicester have 18 points at the time of writing and are four points from safety with a goal difference that is superior to that of Aston Villa and Burnley, the sides in 19th and 18th positions respectively. Of course then, a win at the Etihad Stadium would see the Foxes come within a point of escaping the drop zone should the two sides above them fail to pick up points against West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool.

The two sides have only met once this season, this coming back in December at the King Power Stadium. A Frank Lampard goal proved to be the difference in the East Midlands as the visitors, the strong favourites for the clash, only managed to net once past Nigel Pearson`s men. A second 1-0 win for Manuel Pellegrini`s team can be picked up at odds of 8/1 (betfred, Betvictor, Skybet, william hill). Lampard is an 8/1 (betfair, betfred, paddy Power, Totesport) chance to break the deadlock once again in this second meeting of the two clubs.

Indeed, Manchester City are the favourites to do the double over the Foxes, thanks in no part to their superior league position and home advantage. Coral are offering the best price on a Citizens win at 2/7. A draw is considered to be the next most likely option with bet365 and betfair both having prices of 6/1 on the game ending tied. Finally, a number of bookmakers have made Leicester 12/1 shots for the match.

Pellegrini will have to try to improve his side`s home form, something that isn`t exactly great for a club looking to challenge for the title. The Manchester club have only picked up eight points in their last five games at the Etihad, these results including draws against Burnley (2-2) and Hull (1-1) and a defeat at home to top four rivals Arsenal (2-0).

What will give tomorrow night`s hosts a boost, however, is the fact that they netted five times without reply against Newcastle in their last home outing in what was their first home clean sheet in the Premier League since a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace back in December. Skybet have Manchester City at 5/4 to win to nil against Leicester.

David Silva bagged a brace against the Magpies and also opened the scoring against Burnley. He is the club`s top scorer in their last five home top tier games. The Spaniard can be backed at 14/5 with Spreadex to hit the back of the net at any time tomorrow night.

Those expecting the hosts to keep a clean sheet against the visitors will have to be aware of the fact that the Foxes have scored at least one goal in all of their last five Premier League matches on the road. This includes a draw with Liverpool (2-2) and defeats at the hands of Arsenal (2-1) and Manchester United (3-1).

It`s 10/11 (betfred, boylesports, Coral) should you want to back the bottom club to score over 0.5 against the title holders whilst Coral`s 5/1 says the can score over 1.5 away from home.
