Two games, two wins, eight goals scored, none conceded, Michael Laudrup has had a dream start to life in the Premier League. The Dane though is probably under no illusion that tougher tests are around the corner including the game against Sunderland this weekend. It is 6/5 (general) a Swansea victory which bearing in mind their start to the season and their home record could appeal to some. The Black Cats are a best priced 8/3 (pinnacle) and the draw is 37/15 (pinnacle). I have a feeling that the away side can get something out of this game, O’Neill teams are always solid and well organised and have Sessegnon, McClean, Johnson and Fletcher ready to hit on the break. I like the 23/15 (32 Red) on Sunderland in the draw no bet market. I also like the 12/1 (general) on James McClean to score the opener or the 5/1(william hill) on him to score anytime.

Tottenham take on Norwich at White Hart Lane and they must be hopeful that this is their moment to get three much needed points. At 2/5 (general) though I will not be rushing to back them esepcially bearing in mind some of the question marks over this new AVB side. The draw is 35/8 (Pinnacle) and an away win for the Canaries 17/2 (Bodog). I like the look on the 4/5 (general) on both teams to score, Norwich managed to score at the Emirates, Etihad, White Hart Lane last season and Spurs have looked unconvincing at the back.

West Brom and Everton are two teams who have started the season well and bookmakers see little between the sides. The Baggies are the slight outsiders at 17/8 (Pinnacle) Everton are 38/25 (You Win) and the draw is a best priced 12/5 (Bodog/You Win). If you want a bet on this game I would recommend a market that both ladbrokes and Coral are running which is the away win no bet (same available for home win). This allows you two chances at a game and I like the evens (Coral) for the draw with money back if Everton win. The Toffees are unbeaten in their last 11 league matches and though I fancy the draw this offers the extra cover should Everton win.

It is a clash of two footballing philosophies when Wigan take on Stoke this weekend with the purists certainly hoping for a home win. 13/10 (BetVictor/ladbrokes/william hill is the price for a Wigan victory. It is a tough game to call and if you must have a bet then why not try small stakes on the 23/10 (sportingbet) are offering on a goal being scored in the first 15 minutes. The stats support this with nine goals having being scored inside the first 15 minutes of the last eight Wigan Premier League games.

The final non-live game of the week is on Sunday when Newcastle on Aston Villa. The 4/6 (sportingbet/BetVictor/william hill) might appeal to some against an Aston Villa side that has looked woeful in the first weeks of the season. I word offer a word of caution though Newcastle looked a very tired side against Chelsea and they had another Europa League game this week. However I have no interest in Villa at 5/1 (general) nor the draw at 37/12 (Pinnacle). My advice instead then is to try a little of the 8/11 (SportingBet/Coral) on Draw/Villa in the second half double chance market. Newcastle may ease off if the damage is done early or tire after playing Thursday while Paul Lambert sides are not renonwned for quitting.
