Hull will be hoping that they can put daylight between themselves and the relegation zone with a win away at Swansea. The 15th placed side are currently on 28 points, three more than Burnley who occupy the last position in the drop zone. Whilst Steve Bruce`s men would be unable to scale the heights of the league with a victory, they would put further distance between themselves and the bottom three. Conversely, a defeat would see them slide into the drop zone should all off Aston Villa, Sunderland and Burnley pick up wins this weekend.

Their opponents have very little to play for with the top seven already looking out of reach. The nature of the 10 point gap between the eighth placed side and Tottenham in seventh means that, like Hull, a win would not see them climb the table. On the other hand it could put valuable points between themselves and West Ham and Stoke who sit directly beneath them. Should Hull beat Swansea, the Swans could be replaced by both the Hammers and the Potters if results this weekend go against them.

The two sides have met once already this season, this being in the reverse Premier League fixture at the KC Stadium back in December. Garry Monk`s visitors ran out the 1-0 victors on this occasion, Ki Sung-yueng managing to grab the only goal in the first 15 minutes of the match-up.

Both 888sport and unibet have the best price on Swansea winning by a goal to nil once again, this being 51/10. Skybet`s 2/1 says that the Liberty Stadium outfit will be able to win by a number of goals to nil. Whilst Ki is a 14/1 (bet365) chance to be the first goalscorer once again, boylesports` 23/10 is the price on the first 45 minutes being the highest scoring half for the second time between the two sides.

The Welsh club are the favourites to win today`s clash and do the double over Hull. william hill currently have evens on Swansea winning by any means and this is currently the best price on offer. In opposition, supporters of the underdog can claim a price of 15/4 (Betvictor, ladbrokes) on an away win whilst a draw can be backed at 5/2 at most bookmakers.

Monk`s men beat Aston Villa by a goal to nil last time out to end a run of back-to-back defeats. Indeed at home their form is even more sketchy, having picked up just five points from their last five games at the Liberty Stadium. Their only win in this context came in a 2-1 over Manchester United. This was the only occasion in their last five home games that Swansea managed to score more than one goal and 4/6 with boylesports is the price on the home side bagging under 1.5 goals again. The eighth placed club have conceded nine goals in this period and have not kept a clean sheet either, 23/20 (Betvictor, Coral, ladbrokes, william hill) says both teams will score.

Bruce`s Hull have not scooped a win in their last four Premier League games, picking up two points from the 12 available. Away from home there record is equally as poor, failing to win in any of their last five on the road. What`s more, the Tigers have only scored once in all of these last five matches away from the KC Stadium. This goal was bagged by David Meyler in the club`s surprise 1-1 draw with Manchester City. Meyler is a 11/1 (paddy Power) chance to hit the back of the net at any time.
