After victory against Man Utd in the Premier League confidence must be high in the Tottenham camp and I expect them to continue this form away to Panathinaikos in the Europa League on Thursday. The Greek side have now gone nine games without a win in Europe and have won just one of 16 previous European games against English opponents. In addition they are currently in very poor form with no win in their last six games. Tottenham have a strong squad and even if they rotate a few key players they should be able to get something of this game. Take Tottenham to win this match which is available at 11/10 (general). Also in this group Lazio take on Maribor in Italy and it 7/19 (32 Red) the home victory, the draw is 4/1 (BetVictor) and the away win is 10/1 (BetVictor/Coral).

Liverpool take on Udinese in what should be a tough test for the youthful side Brendan Rodgers likes to field in this competition. It is 5/7 (32red) that the Reds win this, 37/13 (pinnacle) the draw and 5/1 (boylesports/Blue Sq/888 Sport) an away win. I like the look of yes in the both teams to score market which is available at 39/40 (BetVictor). Though the Reds have looked good going forward they still look a little shaky at the back. This bet would have paid in each of the last five games involving the Merseysiders. Also in this group Young Boys are away to Anzhi Makhachkala. Lacina Traore has scored six in his last nine and two in his last three and you can get a nice double on him to score anytime and Anzhi to win the game at 13/10 (BetVictor).

Newcastle have a tricky looking tie with Bordeaux and I think the French side can emerge victorious here. The Magpies look like they are running on empty already and this is their sixth game in 18 days. With a tough home league game against Man Utd on Sunday Alan Pardew will ring the changes. This Bordeaux side are a good team and they have not lost any of their last six and in Europe they have won nine of their last ten games (excluding qualifiers). I think the 11/5 (Stan James) are offering on the away win is a great price and for those not willing to risk so much why not try Bordeaux in the draw no bet market at 11/8 (Stan James). The other game in this group sees Club Bruges take on Maritimo and it is 11/10 (Stan James) the Belgian side win, 5/2 (general) the draw and 33/10 (BetVictor) the Maritimo victory.

The best bet of the other games is the 5/4 (general) on offer that Steaua Bucharest will see off FC Copenhagen. The Romanians have lost just three of their last 17 home games in this competition while the Danish side have won just one of their last eight away games in the Europa League. One other small bet of interest is in Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas to get among the goals. The Chilean netted a hat-trick in the last European tie and is 10/1 (william hill) to score first or 7/2 (william hill) to score anytime. Opponents PSV have kept a clean sheet in just two of their last eight Europa League games and the Italians can get among the goals here.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Tottenham to beat Panathinaikos 11/10 (general)
SILVER: Bordeaux to beat Newcastle in Draw no bet market, 11/8 (Stan James)
BRONZE: Steaua Bucharest to beat FC Copenhagen 5/4 (general)
