Serena Williams looks set to win her fifth Wimbledon women`s singles title and equal the tally of her big sister, Venus, when she plays Agnieszka Radwanska in this year`s final.

Congratulations if you backed Williams at around 3-1 before The Championships got under way because it is beginning to look like one of the biggest bookmaking ricks of all time.

Williams is a general 1-6 to beat Radwanska in front of a packed Centre Court crowd and that, given the form of the two women and the one-sided nature of their career head-to-head record is completely understandable.

How could Williams be anything other than a hot favourite? She sent down a women`s singles record-equalling 24 aces in her 6-3 7-6 semi-final victory over world number two Victoria Azarenka, a win that was considerably more comfortable than the bare scoreline suggests.

Williams was, at times, unplayable, with Azarenka having no answer to her booming 120-miles-per-hour serve which, coincidentally, is the fastest in the women`s singles.

Then there are the paths that each woman has taken to the championship decider. While Radwanska has dropped only one set along the way, she has not been set anything like as hard a task as Williams, with the American having to beat the defending champion, Petra Kvitova, in the quarter-finals and Australian Open title holder Azarenka in the semis.

Finally, there are the head-to-head statistics. Williams and Radwanska have met only twice before but both matches have resulted in comprehensive victories for the American.

Williams thrashed Radwanska 6-3 6-1 on a Berlin clay court in 2008 when they were ranked sixth and 15th in the world respectively. A few months later they met each other again, this time in the Wimbledon women`s singles last eight and the American smashed the Pole 6-4 6-0 en route to the final.

There is no argument for opposing Williams but, at around 1-6 to win the match by any scoreline and 4-9 to win it in straight sets, there is not much about which to get excited.

So, which of the exotic markets present the best way to bet on Williams beating Radwanska handsomely? One of the markets that stands out is the one on the second set`s correct score, not least because of the head-to-head numbers.

Williams has crushed Radwanska 6-1 and 6-0 in the two second sets that they have played. With odds of around 14-1 about Williams winning the second set 6-0, 6-1 about 6-1 and 4-1 about 6-2, you can get around 6-4 about the American taking out the second set without dropping more than two games.

Other markets for which punters should look out are specials on the number of aces that Williams serves in the match, a hot topic of conversation because of her semi-final display.

As mentioned above, Williams served 24 aces against Azarenka and, quite naturally, there will be talk of her setting a new record for aces in a women`s singles match. If you can find an over/under Williams aces line set at anything above 14, back the under, particularly if you think the American will win the match in double-quick time.

Based on any number of historical statistics, an over/under Williams aces line should be set at around a dozen.
