The big game in League One sees third entertain first as Sheff United play host to Tranmere. The Blades are mostly odds on though pinnacle have pushed them out to 30/29 which looks very generous. Sheffield United have four wins and a draw from their last five games while Tranmere have won just one of their last five. If you think the Merseysiders can get something out of this game then the draw is 5/2 (general) and an away victory is 10/3 (Blue Sq/888 Sport).

Doncaster did the business for us last week when getting a draw at Swindon and I think they are worth sticking with this week. Donny have won four and drawn the other of their last five games and although Coventry are improving under Mark Robins this to me is a case of pricing on reputation. The last four games that the Sky Blues have taken something out of have been against struggling sides (Colchester, Walsall, Portsmouth, Hartlepool). 13 Points seperates these sides in the league and yet you can still get 31/20 (BetVictor) on a home victory which seems remarkable. Take advantage and get on Doncaster here at generous odds.

The form team in League One are Brentford and they are away at Notts County. The Bees are indeed buzzing at the moment and have six wins and two draws from their last eight games. Bookmakers though are not giving anything away in their game with County making them 9/5 (general) for the victory while County are 19/11 (pinnacle) and the draw is 7/3 (pinnacle). County are a decent home side and as such this looks a game to swerve.

Into League Two and Gillingham continue to set the pace and are five points clear. This weekend Fleetwood are the visitors to the Priestfield Stadium. Fleetwood shocked many by sacking long-term manager Micky Mellon despite the fact that his side sat in the play-off places and Mellon had taken the club to that position from the Conference Premier North. It was a remarkable climb up the ladder yet patience is not a known quality in the game. Former player Graham Alexander is a fascinating choice as manager and it remains to be seen if his leadership qualities in the dugout are as good as those he displayed on the pitch. With the new manager bounce possibly in affect (this will just be the second game under Alexander) then it might be worth swerving the home side at 20/21 (BetVictor/william hill).

The bet that stands out for me in League Two is for Plymouth to get something out of their game with Exeter in the South West derby. Victory over York last weekend brought to an end a bad run of form for Plymouth though this may be more down to a bad run of luck with the fixtures that saw them play a string of top ten sides in succession. Exeter themselves are flying high however at home they have struggled a little of late winning just one of the last six. If the home team start slowly and Plymouth can frustrate them then the home fans might get restless and this should encourage the visitors. It is 11/4 (general) a Plymouth victory or 18/7 (Pinnacle) the draw. Why not try Plymouth in the draw no bet market where they are available at 7/4 (ladbrokes).

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Doncaster to beat Coventry, 31/20 (BetVictor)
SILVER: Sheff Utd to beat Tranmere, 30/29 (Pinnacle)
BRONZE: Plymouth draw no bet v Exeter, 7/4 (ladbrokes)
