For those who don’t fancy facing the desperate rush of last-minute shoppers than a nice double bill of Football could be in order Sunday as Swansea entertain Man United while Aston Villa travel to Chelsea.

The early of the two games is the one that sees United making the trip to Wales to take on a Swansea side and they are the 5/7 (pinnacle) favourites for the game while the draw is a best priced 70/23 (pinnacle) and a home win is 9/2 (general).

United enter the game in great form with five wins from their last five league games while Swansea have lost just two of their last 12 league games at home (Norwich and Everton). The visitors won both of the meetings between these sides last season and I would lean towards them coming out on top again here.

The bet I do like is on NO in the both teams to score market which is a best priced 13/8 (Coral). Both sides do play attacking Football and have a number of scoring options the stats though suggest that Swansea like to keep things tight when they play the better sides. The the two meetings between the sides last season ended 2-0 and 1-0. Recent games with Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham and Liverpool have seen one or both sides fail to score. The 13/8 then looks decent value. In addition so does the under 2.5 goals line which again tends to be a common result when the Swans play the bigger teams. pinnacle are offering 20/13 under 2.5 goals and this also looks generous.

Those looking for a first scorer bet on the game will see that Robin Van Persie is the 4/1 (Stan James) favourite to net first while Wayne Rooney is a 9/2 (general) chance. Those looking for Swansea player to grab the opener can get Michu at 15/2 (BetVictor/Stan James), the Spaniard has grabbed six in the last six Swansea games.

Later that afternoon Chelsea take on Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge and it is 4/11 (general) a home victory. Villa though will arrive in good heart after winning at Anfield last week in the league and at Carrow Road in the League Cup. Paul Lambert is a smart manager who has his young side playing well. I am not going to rush to declare them world beaters after winning at Anfield last week though the prices are calling out to back Villa once more. The Asian Handicap looks the way to play this where you can get 16/13 (188 Bet) Villa with +1.25 start. That mans you will get a full pay out if Villa win or draw and a half win if they lose by one. A defeat of two or more would see the bet lose though. Villa have lost by just more than one goal in just one of their last ten and that was at the Etihad. Chelsea have won by more than one goal in just one of their last eight Premier League games. Another bet I like the look of is Villa/Draw in the HT double chance market at 10/11 (paddy Power). Chelsea have been ahead at HT in just one of the last four Premier League home games while Villa have been behind at HT in just one of their last 15 games in the league and that was at the Etihad.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Aston Villa +1.25 on Asian line v Chelsea, 16/13 (188 Bet)
SILVER: Villa/Draw in HT result double chance market, 10/11 (paddy Power)
BRONZE: Under 2.5 goals Swansea v Man Utd, 20/13 (Pinnacle) and NO in the both teams to score market at 13/8 (Coral).
