QPR travel to Chelsea with the Hoops some three points away from their nearest rivals at the bottom and some eight points away from safety. After defeat at home to Liverpool last time out it does not get any easier for them as they now have to travel to Stamford Bridge. Harry Redknapp knows he needs to invest heavily in January to turn around the season. It is 1/4 (BetVictor/ladbrokes) a Chelsea victory as they seek their fifth win in a row in all competitions and they won 8-0 last time out at Stamford Bridge. QPR have drawn two of their last three away games and it is 99/16 (pinnacle) that they can get a share of the points. Those who think QPR can spring the shock can get them at 29/2 (pinnacle).

Frank Lampard grabbed two against Everton last time out and is 13/2 (general) to score the first goal in a market that is headed by Fernando Torres at 15/4 (bet365). I think the value here could be in taking David Luiz to grab the opener as he likes to push forward from his position in midfield. He is 14/1 (Skybet/paddy Power/ladbrokes) to net first and 5/1 (Skybet/william hill) in the anytime market.

Liverpool take on Sunderland at Anfield with the Reds the 4/9 (paddy Power) favourites to take all three points. The head-to-head record does not favour the home side though as they have won just two of the last seven Premier League games against Sunderland. Liverpool though have won three of their last four and four of their last six home games in the league and in Luis Suarez possess the best player on the pitch. Sunderland have been in decent form themselves recently winning three of their last five (with the defeats coming against Man United and Tottenham). The draw is a best priced 4/1 (You Win/pinnacle) while the away win is available at 17/2 (william hill). The Black Cats have found the net in recent games against both Manchester sides and Tottenham and It is 11/10 (william hill) that both sides score which would have paid in four of the last five Sunderland away games. This looks the bet in this game.

Newcastle have lost only one of their last ten Premier League games against Everton and are 23/10 (BetVictor/Stan James) for the home victory here. Newcastle though are on a poor run of form with just two wins from their last 12 league games. Everton meanwhile have lost just two of their last 15 away games and welcome back influential Marouane Fellaini following his suspension. It is 7/5 (paddy Power/ladbrokes) an Everton victory while the draw is available at 5/2 (BetVictor).

The in-form Dembe Ba heads the first scorer market and is 6/1 (BetVictor/Stan James/Coral) to grab the opener in this game, Nikica Jelavic is 13/2 (general), Papiss Cisse is 7/1 (general) and Marouane Fellaini is 15/2 (bet365). The bet in this game looks like being Everton to score over 1.5 goals in this game at 6/5 (Stan James/ladbrokes/Coral). Newcastle have conceded 16 goals in their last five games and the defence has looked all at sea recently. Everton possess the firepower to trouble the Magpies and have netted over 1.5 goals in three of their last five games.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Both sides to score in Liverpool v Sunderland, 11/10 (William Hill)
SILVER: Everton to score over 1.5 goals, 6/5 (Stan James/ladbrokes/Coral)
BRONZE: David Luiz to score v QPR, First (14/1-Skybet/ladbrokes/paddy Power), Anytime (5/1-Skybet/william hill).
