SALFORD V ST HELENS Thursday 27th February, 20:00, SKY SPORTS 1

The season has been going well for at least one Red Devils and that is the Salford version who are two wins from two games in the Super League so far this season. They have defeated Wakefield and London though now they face their toughest test yet as they face St Helens.

Bookmakers make Salford the 11/4 (888 SPORT/WINNER/unibet) outsiders for the game as theSaints have made an even more impressive start to the campaign beating Warrington 38-and Hull. They are 1/3 (sportingbet/betway) for victory and are expected to cover a margin of around eight/ten on the handicap betting (depending on bookmakers). The best bet in this game come in the tryscorer markets where I like the look of James Roby who already has three tries this season and can be backed at 9/4 (ladbrokes) to score at anytime.
RECOMMENDATION: James Roby anytime tryscorer, 9/4 (ladbrokes)

HULL KR V CASTLEFORD Friday 28th February, 20:00, SKY SPORTS

Hull KR come into the live game on SKY SPORTS Friday night on the back of a great draw away to Huddersfield. The result was a huge morale boost after a comprehensive opening game defeat from Leeds. Hull KR are the 8/13 (BETVICTOR) favourites for the game against a Tigers side who have won three of their last four meetings between the pair.

Castleford are surprise outsiders to me having won their first two games of the season where they defeated Bradford and the Catalans comfortably. It is true that these two games are not the toughest, however it will have given them a huge confidence boost and I like the look of them at 8/5 (SPREADEX) to win the game or on the handicap where they are also value. You can get them with a four point start at evens (paddy Power) or at 5/6 (SPREADEX) where they get a six point start.
RECOMMENDATION: Castleford Tigers to beat Hull KR, 8/5 (SPREADEX)

CATALANS V LEEDS Friday 28th February, 20:00, NON LIVE, repeated as live 22:00, SKY SPORTS 1

The Rhinos are 4/9 (bet365/BETVICTOR) favourites for the game as they look to continue their two game winning start to the season which has seen them register victories at HULL KR and then at home to Warrington. The Dragons have lost their first two games of the season going down heavily to Castleford last week and suffering a narrow loss to Hull though both of these games were on the road. They are 9/5 (bet365/BETVICTOR) to get back on track here with victory against a Leeds side they have won just one of their last five meetings with.

Zak Hardaker has grabbed three tries in two games so far this season and the Rhinos fullback is the selection in the first tryscorer markets when these are released.
RECOMMENDATION: Zak Hardaker to score first try v Catalans, best available price

BEST OF THE REST

Widnes won their opener 64-10 though face a much tougher test on Friday against Huddersfield and the Giants should come through here. A triple header of games is set for Sunday with Wigan expected to have few problems seeing off Wakefield, and the same for Warrington at home to Hull though prices should reflect this. Bradford and London looks a no bet game also as it is hard to know how the Bulls will react to their six point punishment for going into administration.
RECOMMENDATION: No bet
