After the first part of our guide looked at the outright betting in the here is our second preview looking at the best of the bets from the special markets.

Justin Rose is the 8/1 (BETVICTOR/STAN JAMES/CORAL) favourite to finish as the top European. The Englishman tied for 17th at the WGC Bridgestone last time out on the course and has to be respected in the majors following his US Open win. Henrik Stenson is a 10/1 (ladbrokes) chance and this is a reflection of the fine form the Swede is in with top three finishes in his last three events. Stenson though has not made the top ten in a US Major since 2009 and despite his good form looks too short to be siding with. Rory McIlroy is the defending champion and he is 10/1 (GENERAL) to top this market.

The selection though is for Englishman Ian Poulter who has finished in the places in two of the last four majors and finished in the top 20 last time out at Firestone. Poulter is playing some great golf and at 16/1 (GENERAL) looks good each-way value.

Adam Scott was one of our tips to win the tournament outright and those who wish to do so can also back him at 3/1 (CORAL) to finish as the top player in the Rest of the World beting. I like the each-way chances of another player at bigger prices in this market, Ernie Els. The South African is a big feature in the Majors coming in tied fourth at the US Open, tied 13th at the Masters and tied 26th at the Open Championship. Els was tied for fifth at this course back in 2003 the last time it hosted this event and he has the game and the experience to reward each-way backers at 14/1 (STAN JAMES).

It goes without saying that our outright tip Webb Simpson has to be considered great value in the betting without Woods and Mickelson to be top American that SKYBET are running. I want though here to tip up another player at an even bigger price Harris English at 35/1. English has finished in the top 15 in his last three starts and is starting to deliver on his potential. He came top ten at Sedgefield last year in a course that is similar to this one and could go well this week.

Those who do not like to get involved in betting on golf until after the first few rounds so they can see how the players are playing and how the course is shaping up might want to consider a small interest on the first round leader market. Tiger Woods is the 8/1 (GENERAL) market leader though as mentioned in the outright preview this is not a course that Woods was high on after a pracice session earlier this month. The price is much too short as this is a major and anyone of these players can blast out a big score over 18 holes. Consider a player among the first dozen or so threeballs as they get to attack the course at the freshest and kindest. Charley Hoffman, Paul Cassey, Hunter Mahan, Matt Kuchar, Sergio Garcia and Rickie Fowler are among those players who could set the early pace.

Speaking of three balls bookmakers are priced up on all three ball betting as well as offering a range of special match and group bets on the tournament.
