Real Valladolid take on Real Sociedad this evening in the live Spanish game. Valladolid currently sit in 12th place while Sociedad are 15th. Bookmakers make Valladolid the 11/10 (general) favourites while Sociedad are 68/23 (pinnacle) and the draw is a best priced 31/12 (pinnacle).

History is not on the side of the hosts (Valladolid) who have only won two of their last seven La Liga meetings with Sociedad, though they are unbeaten in the last three meetings between these sides. Current form is not great for Valladolid who have won just one of their last six league games while Sociedad have won just two of their last six games. Those looking for goalscorer bets will see Valladolid striker Javi Guerra is the 6/1 (Skybet) favourite to grab the first goal. Oscar Gonzalez has grabbed four in eight games from midfield and is 7/1 (Skybet) to grab the first goal. Sociedad striker Carlos Vela is 17/2 (bet365) to grab the first while teammate Agirretxe is 8/1 (paddy Power/BWin). The value bet is to take Sociedad to score under 1.5 goals which would have paid in all but one of their last 18 away games while Valladolid have conceded more than one home goal in just one of their last 14 games. The best price on this market is 2/5 (boylesports).

Barcelona are currently joint top of the league with Madrid though it is Atletico not Real. These two are seven ahead of Malaga and eight ahead of Real Madrid. Bookmakers Barca the 5/18 (BWin) favourites with Real Madrid 7/2 (general). Those looking to back without the big two can get Atletico Madrid 1/4(paddy Power) and Malaga at 11/1 (ladbrokes). The top scorer market meanwhile looks a three way battle between Lionel Messi (8/11-bet365), Cristiano Ronaldo (6/4-ladbrokes) and Falcao (10/1-paddy Power/ladbrokes).

Over in Italy it is Juventus who remain the only side unbeaten in Serie A and they are three points clear of nearest challengers Napoli. It is 2/5 (general) that the Old Lady lift the title once more while Napoli are 6/1 (general), Inter are 13/2 (paddy power) and Rome duo (Lazio and Roma) are both 33/1 (general) chances. Three players currently are joint top scorers in Italy with Edison Cavani, Miroslav Klose and Stephan El Shaarawy all having grabbed six each. Bookmakers have Cavani at 3/1 (bet365/paddy Power), Klose at 7/1 (bet365) and Sharaawy 15/2 (bet365).

Bayern Munich suffered their first setback of the season at the weekend as they went down to Bayer Leverkusen though bookmakers still think they look good things for the Bundesliga title at 2/13 (BWin). They hold a four point lead from Schalke who are 12/1 (general) for the title and have taken 13 points from their last five games. Dortmund are 9/1 (BWin).

In France it is PSG who hold a three point lead and they are the 1/6 (Coral) favourites for the title. BetVictor and paddy Power are betting without PSG and the market is headed by Lyon and Marseille at 13/8 (BetVictor). With paddy Power paying out a 1/3 the odds on the 1,2, I think it makes sense to take on Lyon and Marseille. Toulouse are currently second and are unbeaten in their last five (winning three) the same can be said of St Etienne (two wins and three draws) and they are fifth. Back Toulouse at 18/1 and St Etienne at 25/1.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Toulouse in betting without PSG, 18/1 EW (paddy power)
SILVER: St Etienne in betting without PSG, 25/1 (Paddy Power)
BRONZE: Real Sociedad to score under 1.5 goals v Real Valladolid, 2/5 (boylesports).
