The live game in the Football League this week sees Bristol City play host to Hull in the Championship. Bookmakers make Hull the 23/15 (pinnacle) marginal favourites ahead of Bristol City at 2/1 (general) with the draw available at 33/13 (pinnacle). History is on the side of the Robins who have lost none of the last 18 home league games against Hull, winning 14 of these. Recent form though is on the side of the Tigers who have won two of their last three games while Bristol City have lost each of their last three. It is difficult to come down on one side too heavily here in the match markets. Steve Davies has netted five goals in the last six games including two in his last three and is 7/1 (general) to score first or 2/1 (general) to score anytime. Robert Koren has a good record against Bristol City including netting in both games against them last season and he is 11/4 (general) to score anytime.

The best bet in the Championship is once more Charlie Austin to score at anytime which has paid off for us twice already. The Burnley hot-shot has netted an astonishing 13 times in his last eight games yet bookmakers still have him a better than evens chance to score anytime in this game, 6/4 (bet365/BetVictor/Coral). Cardiff are the opposition and it will not be easy however they are not known for their clean sheets keeping just two in their last ten games. Also in the Championship I like the look of Huddersfield to get something off Millwall on Saturday. The fact that you can get 11/8 (bet365) in the draw no bet market on a Huddersfield side who are some 12 places above Millwall seems very strange. True the Lions are on a decent run of their own remaining unbeaten in their last five, they have though drawn four of those. April 21st was the last time that Millwall kept a clean sheet and they are up against a Huddersfield strike-force that features some real talent in Jermaine Beckford and James Vaughan. The Terriers have beaten the likes of Wolves and Blackpool this season and with the draw covered look worth chancing here.

Over in League One and Crawley should not be a better than evens chance to see off Oldham yet Stan James, william hill and 32red have them just a shade over at 21/20. This looks generous as Crawley have won five of their last six games in League One while opponents Oldham have won just two of their last 12 away games in the league. Take the home side at the value. Colchester did the business for us last week making it nine points from their last three games for boss Joe Dunne and his players and I think they can get something away to a Shrewsbury side with just one win from their last eight games. The best way to play this is again in the draw no bet market and ladbrokes are offering a very generous 5/4 on Colchester in this market.

The best bet in League Two could be taking Barnet to get something out of the game with Chesterfield. The Spireites have not won any of their last three home games losing two and drawing one. Barnet picked up a useful point against Wycombe in midweek and beat Northampton 4-0. The Bees have a little bit of a buzz about them and they look value at 10/3 (Coral) in the draw no bet market.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Charlie Austin to score anytime v Cardiff, 6/4 (bet365/BetVictor/Coral)
SILVER: Crawley to beat Oldham, 21/20 (Stan James, william hill, 32 Red)
BRONZE: Barnet in the draw no bet market v Chesterfield, 10/3 (Coral)
