Another race another Red Bull 1-2 on the front of the grid. It will not shock anyone to know that Sebastian Vettel is on pole position and is now 2/5 (general) to win the Indian Grand Prix. Perhaps more crucially for Vettel is that while he starts in front his only rival for the Drivers title Fernando Alonso is back in fifth. It is now 1/4 (You Win) that the German lands the title while the Spaniard is 7/2 (general). If you look back at the 2011 Indian Grand Prix you will see Vettel qualified in front there and went on to win the race it would be no shock if he did the same again. For those looking to take on Vettel you can get Lewis Hamilton at 8/1 (ladbrokes/william hill/pinnacle). Mark Webber who is second on the grid is a 9/1 chance (sportingbet) while a Jenson Button victory is 14/1 (general), Fernando Alonso is 16/1 (Totesport/betfred/paddy Power). Those looking for a bet on a podium finish need to note that last year all three podium finishes last year qualified in the top five and with the big boys out in front it seems unlikely that we will get a shock driver finishing on the podium. It is 1/4 (Totesport/betfred) that Vettel finishes on the podium, while Webber is 4/7 (Totesport/betfred/BetVictor) to do so, it is 11/10 (sportingbet) for Hamilton to do so which looks great value. Jenson Button is 6/4 (Totesport/betfred/sportingbet) for a podium finish while Alonso is also 6/4 (general).

Nico Hulkenburg has points scored eight times this season and at evens (Totesport/betfred/BetVictor) looks decent value for a points finish here after qualifying in 12th place. The German is a solid driver who tends to avoid trouble and this race last year saw five retirements and three points scorers who qualified in 14th or lower. Others expected to be trying to get amongst the points from outside the top ten are Michael Schumacher who qualified 14th is 11/8 (general). Paul Di Resta qualified in 16th and is 5/2 (Totesport/betfred) to finish among the points while Bruno Senna who qualified 13th is also 5/2 (Totesport/BetFred) to be among the points.

It is hard to see past Vettel winning this race and for those looking to boost the price a little then they might be tempted by the 11/5 (ladbrokes) available on the German to complete the hat-trick of finishing in Pole, winning the race and recording the fastest lap. Another option is to try a bet in the dual forecast market. If you think the Red Bull combination can wrap up the 1-2 then take the 5/4 on offer from bet365. Other combinations are Hamilton/Vettel which is 10/3 (ladbrokes), Alonso/Vettel combination is 4/1 (Skybet) while Button/Vettel is 5/1 (ladbrokes). It might be worth a small interest in the Hamilton/Vettel combination as Lewis Hamilton is a superior driver to Mark Webber and the Australian is also not the greatest of starters. It would not be a shock to see the Englishman find a way past Webber and get into second place.

Be sure to get your bets in early as the Indian Grand Prix is scheduled to get underway before lunchtime on Sunday.
