Both teams return to action in the Premier League this weekend with players fit and in form. Moral and confidence will be high at Stamford Bridge as the two sides set out to end each others perfect start to the season. Having completed a famous opening day victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, Swansea will not feel daunted coming in to this fixture but will find Chelsea to be a completely different proposition to the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho`s team rarely lose games at home and Chelsea looked formidable in their previous outing away at Everton, seemingly scoring goals for fun at Goodison Park. Chelsea can be backed at 3/10 with BetVictor to come away with all 3 points and this seems like the most likely outcome. This does not mean that there isn`t good value to be had elsewhere in this match, with Swansea having scored at least 2 goals in six of their last seven away matches, the Welsh club are certainly capable of finding the back of the net at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho will be putting extra emphasis on his team`s defensive work after conceding 3 goals to Everton so don`t expect Swansea to be matching that total but a 2-1 home win is a strong possibility and SkyBet are offering odds of 8/1 for this to be the final score. In addition to this and given that Chelsea will be determined to keep a clean sheet after conceding 3 goals in their previous match, they can be backed at 21/20 to win to nil at BetVictor.

The first goal scorer market is always popular and after the way he has started his career with Chelsea, Diego Costa is favourite to open the scoring for Chelsea priced 10/3 at bet365 with Spanish team mate Cesc Fabregas available at a tempting 8/1. Looking for an outsider, Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson is 20/1 and has already scored twice this season, once for Swansea and once for Iceland. A further goalscorer bet that might be of interest is Loic Remy to be the last goal scorer, betfred are offering 7/2 for the Frenchman to score last and he`s likely to appear from the bench at some time during the match. Do keep an eye out for further team news when betting after an international break, some players can return with injuries that rule them out of their club`s league game the following week.

In total, both Chelsea and Swansea have scored a combined number of 17 goals between them so for this season, with Chelsea registering 11 times and Swansea 6 times. Both teams can be backed to score again on the weekend, with bet365 offering odds of 6/5 for this to happen. Swansea have already proved to be a team that should not be underestimated but Jose Mourinho will have Chelsea prepared the best he can following the international fixtures, so expect a close match at Stamford Bridge.
