Cardiff moved back top of the league with a 2-1 victory at Barnsley and many people will fancy them at 17/10 (BetVictor/pinnacle) to get something out of the game at Derby. County though are no mugs at home winning five and drawing three of their nine league home games this season. Derby are 7/4 (Skybet/paddy Power/Stan James) while the draw is a best priced 23/9 (pinnacle). If ever a game looked like one to throw in your goals galore coupons then it is this one with both teams scoring in three of the last four Derby home games and in each of the last six Cardiff away games. Both teams to score is a best priced 4/7 (ladbrokes).

Burnley did the business for us at the weekend by winning at Hull and I see no reason to abandon them as they head for a very winnable game at Barnsley. It is 7/4 (BetVictor/william hill) a Clarets victory and bearing in mind the terrible run of form the Tykes are on this offers great appeal. Barnsley have won five of their last six games and four of their last five at home. Goal scoring machine Charlie Austin has failed to score in his last three however I can not see this drought lasting and the 5/4 (boylesports) are offering on him to score anytime also appeals.

We took Hull on last week with Burnley and I see no reason not to do this again as the visitors are Crystal Palace. Defeat to Leeds put an end to their great run of form however they must be backed to bounce back here at a crazy 12/5 (ladbrokes) or better still 11/8 (general) in the draw no bet market.

Third placed Leicester must make the trip to Leeds who must buoyed by victory over Palace and the completion of a takeover. Bookmakers make Leicester the 13/10 (general) favourites for this game which looks short on a side with just one win from their last four away games (and this win came against struggling Sheffield Wednesday). Leeds will be up for this and 43/18 (pinnacle) is not the worst price on the coupon this week.

The Championship continues to produce shock results and the one last weekend was the one that saw Bristol City coming off a terrible run see off Middlesbrough. Tuesday night Middlesbrough are at home to Huddersfield and although they should return to winning ways you would not rush to get involved at 10/11 (ladbrokes/Coral/william hill). Bristol City meanwhile face a tricky looking game at Brighton who are 8/13 (general) for the victory, an away win is 65/12 (Pinnacle) while the draw is a best priced 59/18 (Pinnacle).

At the wrong end of the table Peterborough must look to build from their point at Ipswich at the weekend with a result at Charlton who also drew at the weekend. It is 4/5 (general) a Charlton victory, while the draw is 20/7 (Pinnacle) and the Posh victory is 4/1 (sportingbet/paddy Power). Ipswich are desperate for points though they face a difficult game against a Forest side with just one defeat in their last ten games. The East Anglian side are 21/10 (BetVictor/William Hill) the victory while the draw is 47/18 (Pinnacle) and the Forest win is 25/18 (Pinnacle).

Speaking of struggling sides Sheffield Wednesday have lost each of their last four and have conceded the joint third highest amount of goals this season. Troy Deeney has grabbed three in his last three games and offers great appeal at 12/5 (Skybet) to score at anytime.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Burnley to beat Barnsley, 7/4 (BetVictor/William Hill)
SILVER: Crystal Palace in draw no bet market v Hull, 11/8 (general)
RONZE: Troy Deeney to score anytime v Sheff Wednesday, 12/5 (Skybet)
