The title might not be decided on Sunday however City know that if they lose to United the gap at the top of the table will be as much as six points, victory for City though would see these two sides back level on points.

With the game being played at the Etihad then City are the 13/10 (paddy Power/Coral) favourites for the game while the draw is available at 28/11 (pinnacle) with the same firm the best price on a Man United victory (87/35). City did the double over United in the league last season although the Red Devils did win here in the FA Cup. If United were to win it would hand City their first defeat of the Premier League season.

Ladbrokes and william hill are offering standout prices on the first goalscorer with Robin Van Persie, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez all 7/1 to net first. Edin Dzeko is an 8/1 chance while Mario Balotelli and Wayne Rooney are 9/1 hopes. One player who could offer some value at a large price is Jonny Evans who has grabbed three in his last nine and is a generous 50/1 (BWin/ladbrokes/william hill) to score first or 18/1 (BWin) in the anytime market. If City do have a weakness it is in the air and United pose a real threat at set pieces. Those looking to get involved in the goal markets will see it is 8/13 (Skybet/ladbrokes) that both team score while over 2.5 goals is 3/4(pinnacle/32 Red). A word of caution though just five goals have been scored in the last six league meetings between City and United at the Etihad and no more than one in any of those games.

Also on Sunday Everton play host to Tottenham and bookmakers make Everton the 11/10 (paddy Power) favourites while the draw is available at 77/29 (Pinnacle) with the same firm going the best priced on a Tottenham win at 58/19.

I like the look of Tottenham in this game despite the absence of Gareth Bale and you can get them at 4/5 (boylesports/Coral) in the double chance market along with the draw. Everton have not won any of their last four while Spurs have won each of their last four in all competitions. In Jermain Defoe they have a goalscorer on form and Everton have not convinced enough at Goodison to be such a short price. I think both these sides will be pushing for the Champions League however the value and the form lie with Tottenham.

The other game Sunday sees West Ham entertain Liverpool with the Hammers currently three points higher in the table as they sit tenth while the Merseysiders are 12th. Liverpool though are the 6/4 (general) favourites which is a terrible price as their influential star Luis Suarez is out. pinnacle are the standout bookmakers for those looking to take on Liverpool with the draw available at 68/29 and a West Ham at 28/13. It is a noticeable feature of Liverpool how further forward Jose Enrique has been playing recently and at 5/1 (boylesports) in the anytime assist market and 16/1 (Boylesports) the first assist that looks the way to play this game.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Tottenham and draw in double chance market v Everton, 4/5 (Boylesports/Coral)
SILVER: Jose Enrique to assist v West Ham, first 16/1, anytime 5/1 (Boylesports)
BRONZE: Jonny Evans to score v Man City, first 50/1 (BWin/ladbrokes/william hill), anytime 18/1 (BWin).
