Bayern Munich resume their Bundesliga campaign following the international break with a home match against VFB Stuttgart. Having picked up 4 points from a possible 6 so far this season, manager Pep Guardiola will want to see the defending champions push on with a strong performance and a good win in front of their home supporters. Despite many of their players being away on international duty, Guardiola will be pleased that Franck Ribery, who has retired from international football, was able to use the time to regain full fitness and looks in line to make a return to the starting line-up. However, Bayern are still missing some big name players including Bastien Schweinsteiger, Javi Martinez, Arjen Robben and Thiago but with such a big squad full of internationals, this should not pose too much of a problem in this match. Bayern have beaten Stuttgart 8 times out of their last 8 meetings and odds of 1/6 with SkyBet show just how strong a favourite they are to win this game.

Stuttgart started the new season off with a good point away to Borussia Moenchengladbach but followed that result with a disappointing home display against Koln, losing the match by 2 goals to nil. Manager Armin Veh will know his team faces a tough task in the Allianz Arena and will do very well to come away with a point from this game, especially considering that Bayern have won 24 of the last 26 home Bundesliga games. Stuttgart can be backed to pull off a shock win at BetVictor with odds of 17/1 available, with 7/1 for the draw available at ladbrokes.

With a home win the overwhelming favourite, perhaps there is better value to be found elsewhere, such as the goalscorer markets. Franck Ribery, who is likely to be making a return to the starting XI this weekend, is on offer at 13/2 with BetVictor to open the scoring in his comeback game, while the in form Thomas Mueller is available at 18/5, having found the back of net for Germany against Scotland last week. Coming off the back of scoring 4 goals for his country, Robert Lewandowski will be aiming to add to his only goal so far this season in the Bundesliga and is 10/1 with SkyBet to net his first hat-trick in the colours in Bayern Munich and 13/5 to bag a brace.

As Bayern Munich have yet to keep a clean sheet in the Bundesliga this season, conceding goals to both Schalke and Wolfsburg, betway offer 17/20 for both teams to find the back of the net in this game. A better bet may be the 33/20 available at Coral for both teams to score and Bayern Munich to win, especially considering Bayern`s home form. Stuttgart will be hoping that they can keep things tight and capitalise on Bayern`s slow start to the season but with so much attacking quality on show, it`s hard to look beyond a comfortable home win for the reigning champions.
