You would have got a big price from the bookmakers on Tranmere and Stevenage being the top two sides in League One at this stage of the season and I would expect these two to continue to go well this weekend. Leaders Tranmere are home to Yeovil and they should be added to accumulators at 8/11 (pinnacle) as they look good things at home. From five home games Tranmere have taken 13 points (only Brentford have got a point there) and scored 13 while conceding just two. Visitors Yeovil won at home to Colchester last weekend though that came on the back of six straight defeats. I think the home side look tough to oppose. Second placed Stevenage are away to Colchester but look a great price. Despite the loss of a number of players Stevenage just keep on shocking sides and at 17/10 (william hill) bookmakers look to be under-estimating them again. Those wishing to cover the draw can get Stevenage at 10/11 (william hill). This seems a decent price on a side with four wins and a draw from their five league away games this season. Colchester meanwhile have one just one of five games at home this season and that came against Hartlepool. Hartlepool are currently having a terrible time of things in League One having picked just two points from their last seven games. Doncaster meanwhile have lost just one of their last six and they might be worth siding with in the draw no bet market at 10/11 (William Hill).

Over in League Two and it is Gillingham who are setting the pace and they are 7/10 (32 Red) to see off Aldershot on Saturday. The visitors have lost their last five games and should provide no real challenge for the home side who can get back on track after a little stutter of their own (winning just one of their last three). The best of the bets in League Two is Burton to defeat Bristol Rovers at 23/20 (William Hill). Burton have won three of five home games this season and take on a Rovers side who have won just one of five in the road and suffered two 4-0 hammerings amongst these games. The next bet that stands out in League Two is Exeter to beat Northampton at 9/5 (general) or evens (paddy Power/ladbrokes/william hill) in the draw no bet market. Exeter have won four of the five away games this season and have Jamie Cureton in free-scoring form. The Cobblers are without a win in their last four league games and have a number of injury problems. Take the Grecians to get something out of this game.

Over in the Conference Premier it is Newport County that are top of the table and the Welsh side are on a great run of form with five wins and two draws from their last seven games. This weekend they take on a Macclesfield side who have not won any of their last five games yet despite this it is Macclesfield who are the favourites for this game. This is a case of reputation over form in this market and I would rather be on the side of the form team. It is 19/10 (William Hill) that Newport emerge victorious here or 11/10 (William Hill) in the draw no bet market.
