The FA Cup takes centre stage once more this weekend as we reach fifth round time and the dreams of Wembley are that little bit closer. Here is our guide to the best of the bets from the four games played this Saturday.

Giant-killers Luton will have been a little disappointed with the draw when they noted they had a home tie with Millwall though now excitement will mount as they know that this is a game they can win. That being said I am going to recommend a bet on Millwall. Despite the success over the Canaries we have to respect the fact that the Lions are still a good number of places above the Hatters in the league system. Luton can win this game they should just not be as short as 124/41 (pinnacle) to do so. Millwall should not be better than evens and you can turn further encouragement from the statistics which show the Lions have lost none of their last 17 matches in the FA Cup against sides from the lower divison. Take the Lions to show the superiority and progress in this live lunchtime game.

Arsenal take on Blackburn with the Gunners 3/10 (Coral) to win the game in 90 minutes. The Gunners are unbeaten in 34 games against lower ranked sides in the FA Cup though with memories of their League Cup performance over Bradford I can not be advising you to back them at that price. Rovers meanwhile are on a decent run of form and seemed to have picked up under new boss Michael Appleton. They have lost just one of their last ten in all competitions and are difficult to break down away from home. I was leaning towards a little interest in the draw/Blackburn in the double chance market at 11/4 (bet365/paddy Power) until I heard an interview with Appleton in midweek. The Rovers boss seemed to be suggesting that his players were tired and with the play-offs so close he might be tempted to rest some. If this is the case then this looks a game to swerve until you see team news.

The other game at 3.00pm Saturday in the FA Cup is between MK Dons and Barnsley and this looks a tough game to call. MK Dons have won four and lost none of their last six FA Cup games at home while Barnsley are on fire at the moment winning six and losing none of their last seven in all competitions. Bookmakers have the MK Dons at 7/5 (general) while the Tykes are 35/16 (pinnacle) and the draw is available at 12/5 (general). I recommend a play in the anytime scorer market and Jason Scotland who has scored three goals in just 75 minutes of action for Barnsley could be handed a first start here. If he does then 5/2 (sportingbet/BWin) on him to score anytime looks huge.

The evening game puts Oldham up against Everton as the Latics attempt to repeat their trick in knocking out a Merseyside side. Last time around it was Liverpool this time around they hope it will be Everton. The bet here is in the both teams to score market where YES is available at evens (Stan James). Both teams have scored in three of the last four Oldham games and three of the last four Everton games. In addition both Cheltenham and Bolton have managed to score against the Toffees in the cup this year.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Millwall to beat Luton, 11/10 (Coral)
SILVER: Jason Scotland to score anytime v MK Dons, 5/2 (sportingbet/BWin)
BRONZE: Both teams to score Oldham v Everton, evens (Stan James)
