Once again I am not sure what the TV companies are thinking with their selection of the live Championship game this Saturday evening as they have gone with Middlesbrough and Millwall. Boro seem to be doing their best to not make the play-offs while Millwall are hurtling down the table at an alarming rate. Goals could be tough to come by here in a game between a Boro side who scored four in their last five league games and a Lions side who have netted just twice in their last five league games. Those looking for a bet on the live game might want to consider the 6/5 (general) on NO in the both teams to score market.

The pick of the bets in the Championship comes in the scorer markets where Radoslaw Majewski is a remarkable 20/1 (paddy Power) to open the scoring in the game between Charlton and Nottingham Forest. He is also 15/2 with the same bookmaker in the anytime scorer market. The Pole was in majestic form in midweek getting a hat-trick against Huddersfield and this looks very generous against a Charlton side who have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 14 games in all competitions.

Into League One and the game of the day Saturday is the one that pitches Bournemouth against Sheff United in a battle between the sides in second and fourth. Bookmakers make the Cherries the 5/4 (BetVictor/ladbrokes) favourites which seems fair though truth be known this looks a game to swerve.

Swindon and Preston pits one side who have lost a manager against another who have gained one. Preston have done well in getting Simon Grayson who has two promotions at this level to his name. It might be a while before North End fans can be dreaming of promotion but they can dream of a few more wins starting here. Preston saw off Bournemouth last week and while Swindon moved topped without Di Canio in midweek his loss will be felt eventually. You can get 15/11 (pinnacle) Preston with +0.5 on the Asian Handicap and this looks the way to play on a side full of confidence under a new manager with the pressure off them.

Sticking with League One and I like the look of Shrewsbury at home to Stevenage at odds of 7/5 (general). Just two points and three places seperate these sides in the league but Shrewsbury have taken an extra 12 points over the last 16 matches. Stevenage have lost five of their last six and the one win came against a Notts County side who then sacked their manager. .

League One is the league that keeps giving this week as Yeovil look good value at 5/4 (paddy Power/betway) in the draw no bet. Yeovil have won each of their last eight games in League One yet can still be backed at this value price. Doncaster have not won any of their last four in all competitions and do not seem to have adjusted to life without Dean Saunders.

Down in League Two and it is Gillingham who are back top of the table after Port Vale lost last weekend and they won. This weekend Gillingham are away to Chesterfield while Port Vale are at Torquay. The best bet in this division might be in taking James Constable at 13/8 (bet365) to score anytime against a York side that have shipped ten goals in their last four games. Constable has netted five in his last nine and looks worth a little interest here.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Yeovil to beat Doncaster in draw no bet market, 5/4 (paddy power/betway)
SILVER: Preston to beat Swindon +0.5 on Asian Handicap, 15/11 (pinnacle)
BRONZE: Shrewsbury to beat Stevenage, 7/5 (general)
