With both sides out of the FA Cup and Swansea playing in the League Cup next week then Liverpool and Swansea have moved their league game to Sunday. Here is our guide to the best of the bets in that game as well as a look at some value in the Premier League betting markets.

Bookmakers have Liverpool as the 8/13 (paddy Power/william hill) favourites while the draw is 10/3 (bet365/Skybet/boylesports) and the Swansea victory is a best priced 26/5 (188 Bet). The Merseysiders are a little short seeing as they have won none of their last four in all competitions including a poor showing in a 2-0 loss to West Brom in the league. The Reds though will be boosted by the return to fitness of Daniel Sturridge who adds some pace and unpredictability to their attack. Swansea have won just one of their last six league matches on the road though they did win at Anfield in the League Cup in October. Swansea look the better value though with one eye on the League Cup final next weekend I will not be betting on them. I wonder if a few people might look at this game as one they just have to get through without injury rather than a desperate push for three points. Therefore, I shall be swerving the match market in this game.

The first goalscorer market in this game is headed by Luis Suarez at 7/2 (general) while Daniel Sturridge is 9/2 (general) and Steven Gerrard 7/1 (bet365/Skybet/BetVictor). Swansea forward Michu is an 8/1 (paddy Power/betway/BWin) chance to grab the opener.

Those looking for a bet in the game might want to consider the under 2.5 goals market in this game which is available at 13/10 (BetVictor/Coral/pinnacle). This tends to happen when Swansea play one of the bigger sides as Michael Laudrup has his side well drilled and they keep possession of the ball very well. The last six Swansea away games have produced a total of just four goals while Liverpool have failed to fire in their last two games.

Both sides know that victory will keep alive their faint hopes of Champions League qualification with Liverpool 12 points away from Tottenham in fourth and Swansea 11 away. Liverpool are 16/1 (general) for a top four finish while Swansea vary from 40/1 to 250/1 (bet365) for a top four finish.

Top four might be asking a little too much of Swansea though I do they think they are value in betting without the big six market. It is 1/8 (paddy power) that Everton win this market and they are deserved favourites however that is a terrible price. You can get 12/1 (BetVictor) that Swansea win this market and this looks great value considering they are just 5 points behind Everton with twelve games to play. The Toffees also have worries over the future of David Moyes who has said he will reconsider his position at the end of the season. With just two wins from their last seven games a real danger exists that the season could fade away for Everton.

One other bet I like the look of is in the outright market is Tottenham at 7/2 (Coral) to finish top in the betting without Man City and Man Utd. These two sides are seperated by just one point at the moment yet the price in the market does not suggest this. In addition it is Spurs who are the form side taking seven points from the last nine available while the Stamford Bridge side have taken just four from these games. Chelsea also still have to travel to the Etihad and Old Trafford.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Under 2.5 goals between Liverpool and Swansea, 13/10 (BetVictor/Coral/pinnacle)
SILVER: Tottenham to finish top in betting without Man U and Man City, 7/2 (Coral)
BRONZE: Swansea to finish top in betting without big six, 12/1 (BetVictor)
