Juventus looking to make it two wins out of two

Serie A

Juventus play their first home match of the season this weekend, with Udinese being the visitors to the Juventus Stadium. Despite taking all three points last time out away to Chievo, Juventus didn`t have things all their own way and although the Old Lady hit the woodwork three times, they were thankful to Gianluigi Buffon who denied Maxi Lopez an equalising goal towards the end of the match. The visit of Udinese will be new manager Massimiliano Allegri`s first game in charge of Juventus at home and he will want his team to continue the dominance they showed under former manager Antonio Conte last season. Having kept hold of star midfield pair Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal during the summer following interest from a number of clubs, Allegri has the platform in place to not only win the game against Udinese but also retain the Serie A championship.

Juventus are 2/5 with ladbrokes to beat Udinese and this has to be the most likely result with the visitors placed as outsiders with BetVictor at 8/1 to get a surprise victory. The fact that Juventus have won the last 5 Serie A matches between the two teams only goes to show that Udinese have a very tough task on their hands. Furthermore, Juventus have won their last three encounters with Udinese without conceding a single goal and won the last six of the final seven home games last season to nil. If that wasn`t enough to put anyone off backing the away team, Juventus won all of their home Serie A fixtures last season, picking up maximum points and can be backed at 13/10 with paddypower to win the game to nil on Saturday night.

Udinese clearly have a huge task on their hands if they are going to come away from the match with anything but will buoyed by the news that Juventus are set to be missing several key players. With Andrea Pirlo, Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Alvaro Morata definitely out of the match and striker Carlos Tevez also doubtful, Udinese manager Andrea Stramaccioni will be hoping his team take advantage of this and pick something up from the game. As it`s Allegri`s first match in charge of a team that won every home game last season, the pressure will be massive to continue this run and not lose or even draw on his first home appearance. Stramacciono will be looking to talismanic striker Antonio Di Natale to provide the goal threat for his team and he is available at 9/1 with bet365 to score the first goal of the game and 19/5 with 888sport to score at any time.

Referring back to Juventus` formidable home record and the fact they haven`t conceded a goal to Udinese in the previous three games, a scoreline of 2 or 3 goals to nil in favour of the home team is not out of the question. Both of these final scores can be backed at 11/2 and 9/1 respectively at paddypower.
