Burnley will be hoping to escape the relegation zone with a win over the underachieving Everton away from home tomorrow. Whilst Sean Dyche`s side are just two points off safety, they are also just a mere point from Leicester who occupy 20th position. A victory in Merseyside would see the Clarets potentially put clear water between themselves and the Foxes whilst also moving into 16th position, two places clear of the dreaded drop zone.

Although the Toffees are not mathematically safe from relegation, taking their superior goal difference into account alongside their stack of points so far means that they will more than likely be playing Premier League football again next season. Roberto Martinez`s men could close the gap on 11th placed Crystal Palace to just one point with a win at home to Burnley though failing to pick up even a point could see them usurped by John Carver`s Newcastle.

The two teams have played each other once already this season, this being in the reverse Premier League fixture at Turf Moor. It was the visitors who managed to secure all three points on this occasion, the Blues heading back to Liverpool the 3-1 victors.

Samuel Eto`o scored within the first five minutes to put Everton in front though their lead didn`t last as long as they probably anticipated as Danny Ings levelled up 15 minutes later. Romelu Lukaku restored Everton`s lead on the half an hour mark, a one goal lead that lasted until the 85th minute of the game.

It was at this point that Eto`o completed his brace, hitting home the Blues` third goal of the match. This put the game out of Burnley`s reach and continued their winless run.

Interested punters can get the best price of 14/1 on Everton running out the 3-1 winners once again. This price is available at most bookmakers. Eto`o`s move to Sampdoria means that he will not be featuring for Everton again though it is fellow Burnley scorer Lukaku who is the favourite to score a brace or better in tomorrow`s clash. unibet`s 8/1 says the Belgian star will hit two or more goals past Burnley`s Tom Heaton.

Indeed it is the hosts who are the favourites to collect all three points and send Burnley home empty handed. Most bookmakers have the best price of 8/11 on the Merseyside club recording a victory at home tomorrow. Elsewhere, Burnley are on offer at 19/4 at boylesports with a draw available at a price of 14/5 (Numerous).

Everton have not lost in any of their last four matches, earning themselves 10 points from a maximum of 12 in this period. They have not conceded any more than one goal in a match since their 2-0 defeat at Stoke back at the beginning of March. Spreadex have 11/8 on them keeping a clean sheet tomorrow whilst Betvictor`s 17/10 says Burnley can scored exactly one goal.

After recording four straight home draws, the Goodison Park outfit have won back-to-back home games with both of these victories being wins to nil for the Toffees. Skybet have 2/1 on the Blues racking up a third straight win to nil.

Burnley have failed to record a win in any of their last three home matches and have not picked up all three points away from home in 2015. Whilst they failed to score in either of their last two, they will be looking towards top scorer Danny Ings to fire them to victory - and potential safety - tomorrow afternoon. The nine-time scorer is available at the best price of 3/1 at Stan James to hit the back of the net at any time.
