It is not just the outrights that have been priced up in League One as bookmakers have priced up a number of betting options, here is a guide to some of them.

TOPSCORER: The market for top League One goalscorer looks wide open with the top five finishers last season no longer in the league (for various reasons) with bookmakers unsure as well with two players heading the market at 16/1. One of those players is Chris Porter (bet365/Ladbroke/Bodog). The Sheffield United striker is expected to fill the void created by the absence of Ched Evans. Porter though grabbed just six goals last season and it is probably a leap of faith to be backing him here. Richard Creswell is another Sheff Utd player at 16/1 (general) and he is also expected to feature prominently this season for the Blades, the price is likely a reflection on the fact that Sheff U were top scorers in the league last season. Throw in former Crewe striker Shaun Miller and Man Utd youngster and John Cofie and it is clear that it will be a battle for minutes up front for the Blades. The second highest scorers in the league last season were the MK Dons, but it is hard to side with any of their players. They have assembled a real range of forward talent with Ryan Lowe, Charlie McDonald, Dean Bowditch and Jabo Ibehre are among those likely to split the minutes and goals. Swindon duo Andy Williams (20/1-ladbrokes/Coral) and James Collins 25/1 (general) should be among the goals as should Bournemouth trio Matt Tubbs (20/1-bet365/ladbrokes/Coral), Lewis Grabban (20/1-general) and Josh McQuoid (33/1-general). Lee Miller at 40/1 (BetVictor) looks a great each-way bet to finish as top scorer. The player scored 14 goals in 33 games for Carlisle last season before his season came to an abrupt end in April with the very sad death of his wife. Another option at an even bigger price is Mathias Pogba at Crewe who grabbed two on the opening weekend and will play in a Crewe side that will play open attacking Football. The 66/1 (general) looks a very generous price.

RELEGATION: The continued turmoil of Portsmouth has meant no bookmaker is willing to price this up market.

TOP SIX FINISH: Notts County at 6/4 (general) and Carlisle 100/30 (Coral) appeal here. Those who read our outright preview will know we are high on the chances of these two so it makes sense to take them to finish top six.

GROUPS AND MATCHBETS: Crewe hammered Hartlepool on the opening weekend of the season in the League Cup and they look well equppied for a solid season at League One. Take them at 100/30 to finish above Colchester, Scunthorpe, Shrewsbury and Tranmere. 1/2 is the price that Swindon are to finish top of the newly promoted sides and this they should do with little problem. Swindon were five points clear off their nearest rivals last season and have improved leaps and bounds this summer. Coventry are the strongest of the promoted teams with Portsmouth in a financial mess and Doncaster having lost a number of key players. The Sky Blues are a 4/6 (Stan James) to finish the best of the newly promoted relegated teams and this looks a great bet. The final recommendation in the groups market is to take Notts County at 2/1 (bet365) to finish as the top Midlands club. They should finish higher than Coventry and certainly finish above Crewe, Shrewsbury and Walsall.
