TOPSCORER: The market to finish top goalscorer in League Two is headed by Marc Richards at 14/1 (general) and rightly so. Richards is a proven scorer at this level getting into double figures in each of the last four seasons (grabbing 17 last season), he looks certain to be among the goals again this season.

Steven Gillespie at 16/1 (Coral) also will finish high up the charts. Gillespie finished with 11 goals in League One last season (for Colchester) and makes the drop down to League Two to play for newly promoted Fleetwood. Stuart Beavon is another player who was among the goals in League One last season and should be among the goals in League Two. The player, who grabbed 20 goals in League One last season, is the target of a number of clubs in League One and the Championship and it will be a shock if he is at Wycombe at the end of August.

James Constable has grabbed 26 in his last two seasons at Oxford and must be respected at 20/1 (bet365/Stan James/ladbrokes). The Oxford man had a slightly disappointing season by his standards last season (just the 11) but he will be sure to be in the mix this season. Those looking for each-way options at a bigger price might want to consider James Hanson at 66/1 (bet365/paddy Power/ Stan James). Hanson netted in the League Cup for Bradford last weekend and is expected to lead the front line for the Bantams this season. The 24 year-old grabbed 13 goals in the League this season and this price seems to represent some value.

Another each-way option is Guy Madjo at 100/1 (Totesport/betfred). The Cameroonian grabbed eight goals in twenty games for Aldershot last season (after completing a move in January). If he can translate that form across a whole season then that 100/1 could look a real steal.

RELEGATION: Barnet as always will be expected to struggle, like Wigan in the Premier League though they always seem to manage to pull off the great escape. 11/4 (BetVictor) for Barnet to be relegated might appeal to some especially as they will have to do without Izale McLeod who grabbed 18 of their 52 league goals last season. Apart from relegated Macclesfield Burton and Accrington had the worst form in the second half of the last season. Burton finished 17th last season and could struggle again this time around. They are 5/1 (bet365) for the drop, while Accrington are 9/2 (Coral/william hill) second favourites. Paul Cook had a torrid time after taking over from John Coleman and the club who have been punching above their weight for a long time might find this is a season too far.

Another side expected to be in the relegation mix are Morecambe 9/2 (bet365/Bwin) who had a great start to last season winning six of their first nine including a 6-0 hammering of Crawley. Things though started to go very badly wrong though and they won just six of their 30 matches after the end of October. Without that super start this season they could be set for a long and difficult time.

GROUP AND MATCHBETTING: Torquay finished some 31 points ahead of Plymouth last season, yet BetVictor still have both of them at 13/8 in the market for top Devon club. The other side in the mix are Exeter at 15/8. Take Torquay to come out on top here. Also take Torquay at 4/1 to come out on top of Group B with Coral where they should see off Bradford, Northampton, Gillingham, Wycombe and Plymouth.
