The Premier League returns this Saturday so let out a celebration (ok well maybe not you QPR fans) and let us guide you to some winning bets with our preview of the two live Saturday games.

The lunchtime game is a cracker as it is a London derby featuring Tottenham against Chelsea. If this was not enough to give the game spice then throw in the AVB factor, the battle for the league title and all of a sudden this looks spicer than your weekend takeaway (especially if you order a Pizza). Spurs are 17/10 (Bet Victor/Stan James/william hill) for the win here which would be their fifth in a row in the league. Chelsea are seeking their sixth straight win in all competitions and they are 21/11 (pinnacle) to do so. Three of the last five games between these sides have ended drawn and it is 32/13 (pinnacle) that this one also ends all square.

I like the look of the total goals in this game being either two or three which you can get at evens (general). This would have paid out in the last seven Tottenham home games and in nine of the last 15 Chelsea away games. I like the look of Juan Mata who has scored one and assisted four of the last seven goals Chelsea have scored and he is 11/1 (boylesports) to grab the first assist or 7/2 (boylesports) to assist at anytime. Mata is 25/2 (BWin) to score first or 9/2 (BWin) to score anytime.

The live teamtime game features Norwich up against Arsenal and the Gunners will enter full of confidence as they have won six of their last eight in all competitions. It is 4/7 (BetVictor/william hill/pinnacle) that the London side emerge victorious here. Six of the last nine meetings between these sides at Carrow Road have ended all square and the draw here is priced at 7/2 (Pinnacle). Those who think the home side can register their first league win of the season can get 11/2 (general).

Goals tend to be the order of the day when these sides go head-to-head with four of the last five meetings featuring five or more goals (including a 3-3 thrilling draw at the Emirates last season). The over goal line seems the obvious way to play it with bookmakers aware of this as they have over 2.5 goals as short as 8/13 (Skybet) while over 3.5 goals is 23/15 (Pinnacle). If you like the look of goals then why not try the over 1.5 first half goals at 6/4 (william hill) this would have paid in three Norwich games this season including the last two. It has occured in three of the last Arsenal seven league away games (discounting tough trips to Liverpool, Man City and two visits to Stoke). Those looking for a goalscorer bet will see that Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud are the 5/1 (general) favourites. Giroud broke his Premier League duck against West Ham and netted for France in midweek against Spain. He must fancy his chances against a Norwich defence that has leaked nine in their last two games. Grant Holt at 10/3 (Blue Sq/Stan James/888 Sport) appeals in the anytime scorer market. The Norwich striker has netted against Chelsea and Liverpool in the last two and grabbed a goal against the Gunners at the Emirates last season. Those who want to play him in the first scorer market can get 10/1 (Stan James).

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Over 1.5 first half goals between Norwich & Arsenal, 6/4 (william hill).
SILVER: Juan Mata to assist at anytime v Tottenham 7/2 (Boylesports)
BRONZE: Grant Holt to score anytime v Arsenal at 10/3 (Blue Sq/Stan James/888 Sport).
