The boys of Soccer Saturday will be delighted as we have six 3pm kick-offs this Saturday with the pick of them the one that pitches Man City against West Brom at the Hawthorns.

West Brom have been the surprise team this season and they will be delighted to find themselves in sixth place just one point behind Man City. City produced one of their better performances for a while in the league when they beat Sunderland 3-0 before the international break and it is 3/4 (general) the City victory. The Hawthorns has not been a happy hunting ground recently though for City with just one win from their last six visits. Those who think the Baggies can get something can get the draw at 47/16 (pinnacle) or the home win at 48/11 (pinnacle). I would recommend the 29/20 (Coral) on this game being level at HT which would have paid in three of the last four West Brom home games and in the last three Man City away games.

The other half of Manchester is also in action at 3pm Saturday as United play host to Stoke. The Red Devils came out on fire against Newcastle last time out though this time they will have to be a lot more patient against a Stoke side tough to break down. Take the 5/6 (paddy Power) on over in the first goal line which is set at 23 minutes. Stoke have conceded just once in the opening 25 minutes this season and that came from a penalty while in head-to-head meetings just one of the last 22 goals Utd have scored against Stoke has come in that time frame.

Fulham take on Aston Villa at Craven Cottage home and if Dimitar Berbatov is fit for the home side then they offer real appeal at 6/7 (Pinnacle). The home side have won four of five in the league this season (only Man City have won there this season). Aston Villa have not registered an away victory in the league since January 2012 when they won at Wolves. In addition take the 6/17 (32 Red) are offering on Villa scoring under 1.5 goals which would have paid in each of the last 12 Villa away games in the league and Fulham have conceded just more than one goal in just two of their last 12 league home games.

Liverpool take on Reading with the Reds 2/5 (william hill) for victory. The Anfield side have won just one of their last nine at home and I would not be rushing to back them here. Take Reading at +1.5 on the Asian Handicap which is 9/10 (188 Bet). This is a margin that the Reds would have covered in just three of their last 21 league home games.

Goals could be the order of the day as Swansea take on Wigan with 11 of the last 15 Wigan away games have seen three or more goals. This is also the case in each of the five Swansea home games this season. The over 2.5 goals can be had at 18/19 (188 Bet) and both teams to score is available at 4/5 (Stan James/Coral).

Speaking of goals West Ham and Southampton is another one of those games in which goals look like the order of the day. Five of the seven West Ham league games this season have seen a goal scored before the 27th and so have four of the last five Southampton league games. With both teams possesing a wealth of goalscoring talent and questionable defences take the 10/11 (Stan James) on their being a goal before the 27th minute.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Fulham to beat Aston Villa at 6/7 (Pinnacle)
SILVER: First goal to come after 23rd minute between Man U & Stoke, 5/6 (paddy Power).
BRONZE: Over 2.5 goals between Swansea & Wigan, 18/19 (188 Bet).
