Premier League

Leicester will find themselves further isolated at the bottom of the Premier League table tomorrow should they fail to win away at Tottenham. The East Midlands club are currently seven points from safety though this gap could easily be widened further should Nigel Pearson`s men lose at White Hart Lane and Sunderland get the better of West Ham United. A win, conversely, could see the Blues supersede Queens Park Rangers in 19th, Leicester`s goal difference being superior to that of Chris Ramsay`s side, though that would only happen should Rangers fail to pick up a point when they play on Sunday.

It is also something of a must win game for Spurs who are currently four points off the Europa League place and six from the final Champions League spot. The seventh placed club will usurp Southampton should the Whites pick up more points than the Saints tomorrow, making further headway on the top five with fifth placed Liverpool taking on fourth placed Manchester United. Mauricio Pochettino`s men will not be worried about eighth placed Stoke who are currently eight points off their pace.

The two clubs have met twice this season, firstly in this match`s reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium. The visitors managed to come away from this tie with a victory, the score eventually ending 2-1 to the Whites. Harry Kane put the ball in the back of the net within the first 60 seconds, this being the only goal of the first half. Leicester managed to level up three minutes after the restart through Leonardo Ulloa before Christian Eriksen gave the away side all three points, grabbing the final goal of the game with 15 minutes left to play.

Their second meeting came in the fourth round of the FA Cup, the Foxes able to overcome Spurs away from home in this encounter. Again the score was 2-1 and again it was the North London side who took the lead, Andros Townsend converting a penalty to hit the only goal of the first 45. This score remained until the final 10 minutes of the match, Ulloa getting his second in as many games against Spurs before Jeffrey Schlupp netted to see City progress.

Bet365 have 8/1 on Spurs winning by two goals to one whilst a Leicester 2-1 win is available at 18/1 at bet365, Betvictor, Coral and Totesport. Ulloa, who has been so prolific against Spurs in recent times, is a 4/1 shot to hit the back of the net at any time with betfair. betway`s 4/5 says that both teams will score.

In spite of their head-to-head record being tied this season, it is Tottenham who are the favourites to dispatch the Premier League`s bottom club. Most bookmakers are offering the best price of 3/5 on a home win tomorrow. Conversely, Nigel Pearson`s visitors can be supported at a price of 5/1 (Numerous) whilst a draw can be picked up at 10/3 (Numerous).

Pochettino`s men are currently unbeaten in nine at home in the league, winning five of these games and drawing four. Kane has scored six times in these nine matches and can be backed at the best price of 11/10 (Bwin) to add to his tally at any time. The soon-to-be England international is also available at 7/2 (Coral) to grab the first goal whilst 5/1 (unibet) says he can hit two or more past Leicester.

The Foxes are without a win in their last five in the Premier League though have scored in all but one of these encounters. It is 14/5 (betway) should you think that they can score over 1.5 times away at White Hart Lane.
