Three games take place in the Premier League Wednesday night including a dress rehearsal of the FA Cup Final. Here is our guide to the recommended bets from these matches.

If you asked Wigan fans which game they would rather win between the one Wednesday night with Man City or the one in May at Wembley, I suspect most would answer with the former rather than the latter. Both sides will enter the game in good heart with City winning five of their last six in all competitions including each of their last three. Wigan meanwhile are unbeaten in their last five in all competitions, winning four of these. Bookmakers have City as the 2/7 (BetVictor) favourites which seems fair as some 16 places and 34 points seperate these sides. The head-to-head record does not do Wigan any favours either as they have failed to net in any of their last six league games with City. Those who think Wigan can get something here can get them at 14/1 (Stan James) and the draw at 11/2 (general). You need to reach into one of the more obscure markets here for the bet and it might be worth siding with the Latics to net the final goal of the game as they have done so in a remarkable 14 of their last 16 games. Wigan can be backed at this market 19/5 (You Win).

Sky need to stop selecting games so far in advance or have contingency plans in place as the game between West Ham and Man United that they are showing live is probably the least exciting of all three of the games Wednesday night. It seems hard to see anything other than a United win here as they continue their march towards the title. The Red Devils are 4/6 (general) for the victory while the draw is 3/1 (bet365/BetVictor) and a West Ham victory is 19/4 (bet365/BetVictor). United have a remarkable record against sides in the bottom half of the table with a 1-0 loss at Carrow Road the only time this season that they have failed to win against a bottom half side. West Ham though do not tend too lose by many at home with just one defeat in the league this season at their own ground coming by more than one goal. The advice then is to take Man United in the winning margin markets, to win by one goal at 14/5 (ladbrokes) with a small cover on them to win by two goals at 4/1 (Skybet/boylesports).

Fulham take on Chelsea in a West London derby at Craven Cottage with the home side 19/5 (BetVictor) the victory while the draw is 14/5 (bet365/BetVictor) and a Chelsea victory is 10/11 (Stan James/888 Sport). Consider a lay of the away side here as they have won none of their last four away games in the league, losing each of their last three. Fulham meanwhile have lost just one of their last seven a defeat at Newcastle that was a little harsh on them. The head-to-head record also suggest Chelsea look too short as the last four meetings between these sides have ended drawn. The bet I like is Dimitar Berbatov to score in the anytime scorer market at 5/2 (Skybet/Stan James). The Bulgarian has scored four goals in his last three appearances for Fulham in the Premier League at Craven Cottage. Chelsea have conceded at least twice in each of their last four league away games and this includes a visit to Reading and one to Southampton.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Dimitar Berbatov to score anytime v Chelsea, 5/2 (Skybet/Stan James)
SILVER: Man Utd to beat West Ham by one goal, 14/5 (ladbrokes)
BRONZE: Man Utd to beat West Ham by two goals, 4/1 (Skybet/boylesports)
