Premier League

Everton will look to kick-off their Premier League season following their exit from the Europa League with a win away at Queens Park Rangers tomorrow. The Toffees are currently stuck in mid-table and whilst a rise up the league seems not to be forthcoming, they could easily be sucked into a relegation scrap. In 13th position and with 31 points, the Merseyside club are currently six points to the good of Burnley who occupy the final position in the dreaded drop zone. A victory for the Blues, however, would see this gap open to nine points.

Luckily for Roberto Martinez`s men they face another struggling side tomorrow. The Hoops are four points from safety in 19th position and are desperately looking to reduce this deficit with the end of the Premier League season looming. A win over Everton would see QPR move above Burnley thanks to their marginally superior goal difference. Losing to the Blues would see them stay three points above bottom club Leicester and four from safety. The two sides have only met once this season, this being at Everton`s Goodison Park in the reverse fixture back in December. The hosts managed to claim all three points on that occasion, the Blues scoring three goals to the London side`s one. Despite being such a high scoring affair, the first goal was not scored until after the 30 minute mark, Ross Barkley providing the deadlock breaker. Kevin Mirallas doubled the Merseysiders` advantage just minutes before the half time break.

A Nedum Onuoha own-goal not even 10 minutes after the restart all but sealed the game for Everton against QPR who were then under the premiership of former manager Harry Redknapp. The visitors were able to secure a consolation goal, however, with Bobby Zamora reducing the scoreline just 10 minutes from time.

A correct score prediction of 3-1 to Everton will see your winnings returned at odds of 19/1 should you place your bet with Betvictor. Otherwise Skybet are offering the best price of 4/5 on both teams hitting the back of the net whilst Barkley is a 14/1 chance with paddy Power to be the first goalscorer.

Indeed it is Everton who are the favourites to claim all three points tomorrow. All of Betvictor, Coral and paddy Power are offering 13/10 on the visitors stealing all three points at Loftus Road. Alternatively, the Hoops can be backed at the best price of 28/11, that available at Betbright, and a draw is up for grabs at 5/2. That price is also available at Betbright but also boylesports.

The home side have played six Premier League games under new boss Chris Ramsay, the club earning just three points from these encounters. With one win and five defeats in these matches, things aren`t rosy for the Loftus Road outfit though fans will surely be buoyed by the fact that they have scored in all of their last five ties. Betvictor`s 17/10 says that the R`s will be able to score exactly one goal for the four consecutive time in the Premier League.

Charlie Austin is the club`s leading scorer under Ramsay with two goals and he can be backed at 9/4 (Bwin) to grab a goal at any time against Everton.

The Toffees have a woeful recent record on the road, picking up just three points from their last five games and scoring just one goal. As a result there could be value in a QPR win to nil which is available at a price of 11/2 (Betvictor). Alternatively, a goalless draw can be picked up at 11/1 at Coral.
