Premier League

Whilst very little rides on Saturday`s match for Crystal Palace, their opponents Hull City will be looking to claim a victory in the hope of putting some daylight between themselves and the relegation zone. Palace currently sit in 11th position in the Premier League and are a massive 14 points off the bottom three and an even bigger 15 points off the top five. As a result, they will just be looking to break into the top 10. Alan Pardew`s side would be able to achieve this feat with a victory over the Tigers, securing all three points seeing them rise above West Ham United should they lose away at QPR. Defeat could see Palace usurped by 12th placed Everton.

It is only a superior goal difference that keeps Hull from being in the bottom three. As a result, the Tigers would drop into the relegation zone should Leicester claim more points than them in their clash away at Burnley. Both Hull and Leicester, alternatively, could climb above Sunderland should both teams win and the Wearside club fail to get the better of Stoke.

These two clubs last met in October at Hull`s KC Stadium. At the time Palace were under the control of former manager Neil Warnock. It was the hosts that were able to seal the victory in this encounter with two second half goals securing all three points for Steve Bruce`s men.

Mohamed Diame broke the deadlock with just half an hour of the match left to play as Nikica Jelavic managed to double up with the match in its dying embers. Their opponents failed to reduce the deficit and the game ended 2-0.

Betvictor have a massive 21/1 on Hull winning tomorrow`s clash by two goals to nil and whilst Diame can be supported at 25/1 (sportingbet) to score the first goal of the match, Jelavic will be unable to feature as he recovers from a knee injury. Bwin have 13/10 on the second 45 being the highest scoring half once again.

Despite their previous victory over Palace, Hull are not the favourites to walk away from Selhurst Park with all three points. Indeed the London club`s superior league position and improved performances under new boss Pardew means that they can be backed at the best price of 11/10. All of Betvictor, boylesports and william hill are offering this price. Otherwise, 16/5 (bet365, betfred, Totesport) says that the Tigers can do the double over their hosts tomorrow with 12/5 (Numerous) the price on tomorrow`s game ending tied.

Crystal Palace`s 2-0 defeat at the hands of West Brom last week ended the Eagles` run of four consecutive league wins. Despite their good run of recent form, they have conceded at least one goal in all of their last nine matches. Pardew`s men are a short 9/4 (Betvictor, Skybet, Totesport) chance to win by any number of goals against Hull, this price being down to their rivals` profligacy in front of goal rather than their own defensive capabilities. Prior to their home loss last week, Palace had previously netted 11 goals in their four unbeaten clashes. Both Glenn Murray and Yannick Bolasie scored three goals each in this period, the latter producing a hat-trick against Sunderland in their 4-1 success. Murray is a 9/4 (Bwin) chance to add to his tally at any time whilst Bolasie is available at 40/1 (bet365) to score two or more goals in the match once again.

Tomorrow`s visitors have not picked up a win in any of their last six and have only managed to hit two goals in their last five matches on the road. Crystal Palace look good value to keep a clean sheet at 6/4 (Spreadex).
