CHARLTON V BOURNEMOUTH, Tuesday March 18th, 19:45

After a great FA Cup run Charlton must now start putting some points on board in the Championship if they are to avoid relegation. The post Chris Powell era began with a 0-0 draw against Millwall and the Addicks are 2/1 (GENERAL) to get all three points Tuesday.

Bournemouth meanwhile are on a good run of form with ten points from their last four games which includes wins at Blackpool and Bournemouth. Those who want to back the Cherries can do so at 13/8 (BETVICTOR/william hill) while the draw is 23/10 (GENERAL).

Those looking for a bet on the game should look at NO in the both teams to score market at 10/11 (BETVICTOR). Charlton are looking to keep things tonight under their new boss and this would have paid in five of their last six and each of the last five Bournemouth matches.

RECOMMENDATION: NO in both teams to score market, 10/11 (BETVICTOR)

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY V QPR, Tuesday March 18th, 19:45

The loan signing of Ravel Morrison seems to have help turned around QPR who seemed to be running out of steam before getting the West Ham man on loan. The London side have won two of their last three and are 6/4 (GENERAL) favourites for this game. Wednesday for their part are a little in and out at the moment with five wins from their last ten games. The Owls are tending to do their best work at home with two consecutive victories including a 4-1 hammering of Birmingham on Saturday. Those who fancy the Yorkshire side can back them at 21/10 (bet365/william hill) while the draw is 40/17 (888 SPORT/unibet).

The best bet in this game comes in taking this game to have over 2.5 goals at 29/20 (BETVICTOR). This bet would have paid in nine of the last 14 Wednesday games while QPR have looked a lot more attacking since the signing of Morrison.

RECOMMENDATION: Over 2.5 goals at 29/20 (BETVICTOR)

WIGAN V YEOVIL, Tuesday March 18th, 19:45

Since Uwe Rosler took over as boss of Wigan they have taken 36 league points (only Leicester with 42 have more in the division) while knocking out Man City en-route to another FA Cup semi-final. The German is doing an excellent job and his side should have few problems seeing off a Yeovil side with just three away victories all season. The Latics are 40/85 (boylesports) which looks unbackable so instead enhance this with half time/full time which would have paid in seven of the last eight Wigan games. The Glovers meanwhile have been behind at HT/FT in four of their last seven away games so this looks the way to play this game.

RECOMMENDATION: Wigan HT/FT v Yeovil, 6/5 (SKYBET/BETVICTOR/P.POWER)

ANTEPOST MARKETS

Bookmakers seem convinced that Leicester and Burnley have the top two promotion spots wrapped up and it is hard to argue with them. The race is on for the play-offs with Derby, QPR, Wigan and Forest the four teams currently in possesion of the spots with Reading and Brighton leading the chase. At the other end of the table it is Barnsley, Charlton and Yeovil who are sitting in the relegation slots. I like the look of Birmingham to go down at a decent price of 5/1 (GENERAL). The second city side have taken just nine points from their last 12 games and one from their last four shipping ten goals in these four fixtures. They sit just eight points ahead of a Charlton side who have four games in hand of them.

RECOMMENDATION: Birmingham to get relegated, 5/1 (GENERAL)
