ARSENAL v SWANSEA, Tuesday 25th March, 19:45, non live

It was Billy Ocean who once sang when the going get tough, the tough get going. Sadly for Arsene Wenger his side misunderstood going for disappearing as they produced a lifeless performance to go down 6-0 to Chelsea. The Gunners are now seven behind Chelsea and perhaps more crucially one point Man City and having played two games more. They must keep alive their slim hopes with a victory over Swansea and they are 1/2 (BETVICTOR) to do so on Tuesday night. The North London side have not lost successive matches in the Premier League this season and are unbeaten in their last 13 league games at home. Swansea have taken just one point from 12 matches against the top eight so far this season and are without a win in their last eight games in all competitions. I can not then be siding with the Welsh side at 7/1 (bet365/ladbrokes) or the draw at 15/4 (bet365).

Wilfried Bony has 19 goals in all competitions this season and the Swansea forward will fancy his chances against a Gunners backline that was a mess at the weekend. He is much to high for a player of his quality in the anytime scorer market.

RECOMMENDATION: Wilfried Bony to score anytime, 4/1 (betfred)

MAN UNITED v MAN CITY, Tuesday 25th March, 19:45, SKY SPORTS 1

After victories over Olympiakos and West Ham David Moyes has bought himself some time as Man United manager though all that will count for nothing if his team can not beat Man City on Tuesday night. The visitors are the 23/20 (GENERAL) favourites for victory at Old Trafford as they look to continue a run of four victories from the last five Manchester derbies. City are also unbeaten in their last eight games away from home in the top flight. The Red Devils meanwhile have already lost five Premier League home games this season which is more than the previous three seasons combined. United are 5/2 (GENERAL) as they seek this huge morale boosting victory and a chance to put a dent in their local rivals title hopes. Those who think the game can all square meanwhile can back the draw at 13/5 (GENERAL). I think the price on City is much too big though as in Toure, Silva and Fernandinho they have the class to dominate their local rivals in midfield and I am shocked to see them available at better than evens considering they hit United for four back in September.

RECOMMENDATION: Man City to beat Man United, 23/20 (GENERAL)

NEWCASTLE V EVERTON, Tuesday 25th March, 19:45, non live

John Carver is actually three wins from three games as Newcastle boss at home and the Magpies are 5/2 (bet365/BETVICTOR/betfair SPORTSBOOK) for victory against Everton on Tuesday night. Newcastle needed a last minute goal to defeat Crystal Palace on Saturday and I think they lack the creativity to see off Everton.

The Toffees have lost just two of the last ten meetings between these sides and their victory over Swansea at the weekend made it four victories from their last six in all competitions with the defeats coming against Arsenal and Chelsea. Odds of 13/10 (paddy Power/william hill) on the visitors winning the game might be popular though the Merseysiders have gone six away games without a victory so the draw might be a risk. A better bet then is to take NO in the both teams to score market as this bet would have paid in seven of the last eight Newcastle games and four of the last five Everton away games.

RECOMMENDATION: No in both teams to score, 6/5 (boylesports/STAN JAMES)
