The Premier League title looks like a three horse race as Chelsea sit four points clear ahead of both Manchester sides. It is 11/4 (general) that the London side lift the trophy while the blue half of Manchester are the 30/17 (32 Red) favourites ahead of the red half who are 43/20 (You Win). It looks very difficult to decide between those three at the moment with Chelsea perhaps looking the marginal value of the three. They hold a four point lead at the top and are playing the best football. Next weekend sees Chelsea take on Man United and a good result against them could see that price on the London side come in.

At the other end of the table Norwich are still the 3/5 (You Win) favourites for relegation despite their victory over Arsenal. Reading are 81/100 (You Win) as they seek that elusive first victory. Southampton are evens (You Win) for relegation, Wigan 33/20 (You Win) and winless QPR 5/2 (Bet Victor/Stan James). Aston Villa are 3/1(You Win) and Swansea are 4/1 (boylesports). It looks like being a tight battle at the drop between any number of teams so don’t be afraid to oppose teams on good runs or support teams on a bad run in the staying up market.

The battle for fourth looks wide open with at least five sides looking like being in the running for that fourth Champions League slot. It is 667/1000 (Coral) that Arsenal finish in the top four, Tottenham are 9/4 (Totesport/betfred) to do the same, while Everton are 6/1 (Coral), Liverpool 8/1 (You Win) and Newcastle 28/1 (Coral). I would still favour Arsenal though I would not be rushing to back them at that price.

I like the look of West Brom at 5/4 (Coral) to finish in the top ten this season. Steve Clarke has made a great start to his managerial career expanding and developing the firm base at the Hawthorns that Roy Hodgson had established. The Baggies should have come out with a least a point against Man City and can be taken to finish over teams like Sunderland.

A different team but the same result as Robin Van Persie continues to get among the goals and the Dutchman is 11/4 (You Win) to finish as top scorer in the Premier League. Van Persie has got six goals in the league this season, the same number as Dembe Ba and Michu. The next best in the market is Fernando Torres at 13/2 (betfred/You Win) although the Spaniard looks as though he will be sharing the goals with Juan Mata and Eden Hazard. Those who want a bit of each-way value could do worse than Everton striker Nikica Jelavic who has already grabbed four goal this season and is 25/1(Skybet) which looks worth an each-way play.

Those looking for a special bet can take william hill up on the offer of which team will remain unbeaten the longest with Man City the 1/2 favourites while Chelsea are 6/4. This is presumably because Chelsea have to face Man Utd next Sunday though if they can come through that game unbeaten then these prices might change. These two teams will do battle on Sunday November 25th. Those who think either or both teams can go through the whole league season unbeaten can get 4/1 (william hill) for this to happen.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: West Brom to finish in the top ten, 5/4 (Coral)
SILVER: Nikica Jelavic EW Top Premier League Scorer, 16/1 (ladbrokes)
BRONZE: Aston Villa for relegation, 3/1 (You Win).
