With the Summer break just around the corner teams will want to go out in style, so who will win the Hungarian Grand Prix?

McLaren have a good record in Hungary winning five of the last seven races and if you think they can gain another victory here then you can get 3/1 (sportingbet) that a McLaren car takes the chequered flag first. 2011 race winner Jenson Button is a 10/1 (general) hope for victory. Button has had a disappointing season, but produced his best race for a while in coming second (he finished third but Vettel was demoted three places) in the German Grand Prix last weekend. If the predicted thunderstorms come this could benefit Button whose two wins at this track came in rain affected races. Teammate Lewis Hamilton is not having much luck on the track at the moment, but does have two victories here in Hungary and at 5/1 (general) will appeal to some in a McLaren car that looked much improved in Germany.

Bookmakers make Sebastian Vettel the 3/1 (general) favourite for the race. The German suffered a 20 second penalty last time out that saw him relegated from second to fifth and lose further ground on Fernando Alonso. Vettel will know this is a must win race and he must hope that the Red Bull is driving better than it was at Hockenheim. Much depends on how the Red Bull shapes up, if it runs like it did at Silverstone they will be tough to stop, like it did in Germany and they could find themselves further behind in the standings. Mark Webber in the other Red Bull is 12/1 (sportingbet) for the race victory, while a Red Bull car to win is 2/1 (general).

World Champion Fernando Alonso will enter the weekend with a 34 point lead in the outright standings and with the pressure somewhat off his shoulders. The Spaniard no longer has to chase any races thanks to this advantage, knowing a number of consistent finishes will see him home in the title race and consistency is what Alonso brings. Alonso has been out of the top three in just one of the last six races and is 7/2 (Skybet/ Blue Sq/888sport) to win the race and 4/6 (general) for a podium finish. His teammate Felippe Massa has not had a year to remember and should be doing better in the Ferrari. The Brazilian is a 50/1 (general) shot.

It seems likely to come down to the big five drivers again although the Lotus car must always be respected as they have racked up a number of podium finishes. Kimi Raikkonen has made the podium in four of his last seven races and is a 3/1 (general) chance to do so here, while teammate Romain Grosjean is 4/1 (bet365/paddy Power/Coral) for a podium finish.

Sauber duo Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez had a good weekend at Germany finishing fourth and sixth respectively. The Sauber is driving well and both drivers will expect to be among the points in Hungary this weekend. Perez is 4/6 (general) to get among the points, while Kobayashi is 10/11 (ladbrokes).

Those looking for a little bet on qualifying could do worse than a small interest on Michael Schumacher to grab Pole Position at 20/1 (Sportingbet/ladbrokes). The German registered the fastest lap time at the German GP while teammate Nico Rosberg secured the third fastest and he is also available at 20/1 (general).
