Manchester City head to Hull`s KC Stadium tomorrow (27th September) fresh off the back of their 7-0 thumping of Championship Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup. All seven goals came in the second half for Manuel Pellegrini`s men with Edin Dzeko and Frank Lampard grabbing a brace. Chelsea legend Lampard has now scored three goals in his last two after his late equaliser against his former club at the Etihad Stadium. Hull on the other hand threw away a 2-1 lead away at West Brom in their cup tie. Gareth McAuley and Saido Berahino both hit the back of the net in the dying minutes to see the Baggies come from 2-1 down to win 3-2. The defeat leaves the Tigers without a win in their last four in all competitions. They sit tenth in the Premier League with six points from their first five games.

Pellegrini`s champions are sixth in the table, their important draw against title pace-setters Chelsea following another point against Arsenal, the Sky Blues once again coming from behind. Martin Demichelis ensured the side avoided back-to-back defeats for the first time since October 2010 after second half goals from Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez put the Gunners in front. Sergio Aguero`s third of the season had put the North West club 1-0 up before half time. The Argentinean will be back for the Hull clash after missing out on the side`s mid-week tie with Wednesday after picking up a knock on the knee during their draw at home to Chelsea. The artist also known as Kun is 6/5 with Betbright to score at any time, and 4/1 (Bwin, Coral) to grab the first goal of the match.

Unsurprisingly, most bookmakers make the away team 4/7 to send their fans back to Manchester happy, whilst both 888sport and unibet are offering odds of 13/4 on the game ending in a stalemate. Hull are searching for their first Premier League home win of the season and betfair have Steve Bruce`s men at 6/1 to find it against the title challengers.

Midfielder David Meyler suffered a back injury late on in the Tigers` match against Albion mid-week and is a doubt for the home team. The Irishman was forced to come off in the 85th minute, substituted for young Sheffield United signing Harry Maguire two minutes before the minute of madness that saw them ship two goals. He will be joined on the sidelines by fellow midfielder and deadline day transfer Hatem Ben Arfa. The 27-year-old played his first 90 minutes for eight months against West Brom though his manager Bruce has decided that selecting the loanee twice in a week may jeopardise his fitness.

The Humberside club will also potentially have to make do without Southampton loan signing Gaston Ramirez, who is still under the thumb of a recurring groin injury, something that his manager Bruce described as being `a concern`. `We had scans and all the rest of it.` The 53-year-old told a packed out press conference. `Since he`s arrived he`s had a niggle in his groin and it hasn`t gone away.

`It`s a little bit of a concern. We`ll just have to see how he is.`

The home side will then look to in-form Mohamed Diame and top scorer Nikita Jelavic for goals, the former having scored two in his first two games since signing from West Ham. The Senegal captain is 17/2 with Bwin to make it three from three whilst Jelavic, who has scored three already this season, is 15/4 (betfair) to grab another at any time.

Having scored two in each of their last three games, Hull can be backed at 5/1 to continue the trend.
