Wednesday will see Leicester City take on Chelsea, two teams at the opposite ends of the Premier League table looking to fulfil different ambitions. The King Power Stadium outfit, who will be hosting Wednesday`s clash, will be hoping to put more daylight between themselves and the relegation zone. The Foxes sit just one point above the bottom three following their victory over bottom club Burnley at the weekend though they could extend this gap to four points with a win over Chelsea. Failing to get the better of the London club could see Nigel Pearson`s men usurped by Sunderland following their next game, set to be played this coming weekend.

Whilst the Foxes are battling away at the foot of the table, Chelsea lead the way in the Premier League and could go 13 points clear at the top of the division should they take down the East Midlands side. With both Manchester City and Arsenal just separated by goal difference, either of these clubs could reduce the gap on the top team to seven should the Blues lose away at the King Power Stadium.

The two clubs met in October in the reverse Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge. The match hung by a thread at half time, neither team managing to break the deadlock. It was the home side who took all three points, both Diego Costa and Eden Hazard hitting the back of the net in the second 45 to put the game out of Leicester`s reach.

Betvictor have the best price on another 2-0 win for Chelsea, this being up for grabs at 8/1. Alternatively, Coral have 2/1 on the Blues beating Leicester by any number of goals to nil with a Chelsea clean sheet on offer at 6/4 at Spreadex. Whilst boylesports` 9/2 says that Costa will hit the first goal of the match, Hazard is a 5/1 shot with all of bet365, Betvictor and boylesports to be the last goalscorer of the game once again.

Being the table toppers means that Jose Mourinho`s side are the favourites to secure all three points from the match on Wednesday despite their away disadvantage. Most bookmakers are offering the best price of 7/10 on a victory for the visitors. In opposition the Foxes are available at 19/4 at both Betvictor and Boylesports whilst a draw is up for grabs at 3/1 (Numerous).

Leicester have secured the maximum of 12 points from their last four games, scoring eight goals, conceding three and keeping two back-to-back clean sheets.

With two goals apiece, both Andy King and Jamie Vardy have been the club`s top scorers in these encounters. The former can be backed at 25/1 (boylesports) to be the last scorer of the match - he hit the last goal against both West Ham United (2-1) and Swansea (2-0). Otherwise Coral`s 5/1 says that Vardy will be able to score a goal at any time against Chelsea.

Spreadex have 5/1 on Pearson`s side keeping their third straight clean sheet of this period.

Chelsea are another club who are currently on an unbeaten run in the Premier League though their last defeat came right back on the first day of 2015. Their goalless draw with Arsenal at the weekend was the first time that the side had not collected all three points since their 1-1 draw with Southampton back in the middle of March.

Of the four victories racked up between the Southampton game and the Arsenal clash, Mourinho`s men hit seven goals. An average of just under two a match. Both Betvictor and Boylesports have 3/4 on the Blues scoring over 1.5 goals against Leicester on Wednesday.
