Tottenham take on Everton at White Hart Lane this afternoon (30th November, 16:00), both teams coming off the back of a busy schedule of Premier League and Europa League fixtures.

Spurs are the 5/4 (Numerous) favourites for the clash, though Everton are on an eight game unbeaten run in all competitions. The Toffees are available at 5/2 (betfair, boylesports, Coral) to secure the victory. It`s 13/5 should you think that the spoils will be shared between the two teams. This price is being offered by a number of bookmakers.

Mauricio Pochettino`s Spurs recorded back-to-back 2-1 away victories at the beginning of the month, their win at Villa Park preceding their Europa League triumph over Asteras Tripolis in Greece. Goals from Nacer Chadli and Harry Kane in the final ten minutes cancelled out Andreas Weimann`s 16th minute opener in the Midlands, whilst Andros Townsend and Kane helped the side to all three points against the Greek Super League club.

Chadli netted a consolation goal as Spurs` went down 2-1 to Stoke at White Hart Lane, though bounced back to record a win by the same scoreline away at Hull. Ex-Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore broke the deadlock for the home side prior to Kane equalising and Christian Eriksen bagging the winner in squeaky bum time.

Benjamin Stambouli struck in the second half to score the only goal in their match against Partizan Belgrade and secure the Whites` progression through to the last 32 of the Europa League. This clean sheet was the North London club`s first in five games and they are 12/5 with Spreadex to not concede against Everton. This would be the first time Pochettino`s men have picked up consecutive clean sheets this season.

Such a task is made more difficult by the suspected absences of key defensive figures, Etienne Capoue, Younes Kaboul and Danny Rose. All three men missed the club`s last couple of games with injuries and will be joined on the sidelines by Kyle Naughton who has landed himself with a suspension after picking up a red card against Stoke.

Kyle Walker is a long-term absentee following abdominal surgery.

Everton have scored at least one goal in all of their last four matches and look set to exploit the frailties of the Spurs` backline. The start of November saw Roberto Martinez`s men hit three past French side Lille without reply after a tough goalless draw against Swansea in the Premier League.

Leon Osman got the opener against the French club before Phil Jagielka and Steven Naismith added to their side`s tally. The Toffees` hosting of Lille came just three days prior to their clash with Sunderland and they needed a Leighton Baines` penalty deep in the second half to secure a point against Gus Poyet`s rejuvenated black Cats. The Merseyside Blues got back to winning ways over West Ham United last weekend. Romelu Lukaku put the home side in front in the first half only for Mauro Zarate to equalise early in the second 45. The winner for the Goodison Park outfit was provided by veteran midfielder Osman who hit his second goal in three matches. Lukaku was also on the scoresheet as Everton booked their place in the knockout round of the Europa League. The Belgian hit the opener just minutes before the half time whistle against Wolfsburg with Kevin Mirallas doubling their advantage with 15 minutes remaining.

Twenty-one-year-old Lukaku`s goal against the Bundesliga side was his sixth of the season. In good form, the striker is 21/10 (Betbright, Betvictor, Spreadex) to hit his seventh at any time against Tottenham. Spurs` top scorer Kane is 6/1 with Bwin to break the deadlock.

Toffees` boss Martinez will be buoyed by the returns of Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry, Steven Naismith and Steven Pienaar after their recoveries from their respective injuries.
