STOKE v HULL, Saturday 29th March, 15:00, non-live

At the time appointing a man who had got a big spending side (QPR) relegated last season seemed a recipe for disaster yet Mark Hughes has been a success at Stoke. The manager has spent little though gradual tweaks to the playing style of the Potters has made them a little bit more unpredictable going forward. Home form has been crucial with them losing just one of their last 12 at the Britannia and just seven in the last six seasons against bottom half sides.

Hull have lost seven of their last eight at teams in the top half of the table and I do not fancy them here after a tough game with ten men in midweek. Steve Bruce will hope his side just have enough about them to stay up although I am not so sure. I think they have to be worth a little interest to go down, they have seven games remaining, four of which are away. Their home game are against Arsenal, Everton and Swansea, three tricky looking fixtures.

RECOMMENDATION: Stoke to beat QPR, 5/4 (william hill)
Hull to be relegated from Premier League, 25/1 (SKYBET)

SWANSEA v NORWICH, Saturday 29th March, 15:00, non-live

The Swans have found Norwich something of a bogey team since they were both promoted in the same season. The Canaries have won three and lost none of the last five meetings in the top flight. The Welsh side are much too short at 3/4 (GENERAL) to win this game as they have won just two of their last 17 games.

Norwich have a tough last four games so know that they need at least a point here and knowing Chris Hughton his side will be set up to get it. The Canaries though have lost five straight away so I can not bring myself to back them at 9/2 (BETVICTOR/william hill).

Alex Tettey caught the headlines for his wonder goal last weekend though it was his midfield partner Johnny Howson who caught the eye in terms of performance. The player linked up midfield and attack well and looks value in the goalscorer markets.

RECOMMENDATION: Johnny Howson to score first v Swansea, 22/1 (BWIN)
Howson to score anytime v Swansea, 9/1 (888sport/unibet)

WEST BROM v CARDIFF, Saturday 29th March, 15:00, non-live

This is not a game that screams must bet when you have 17/20 (paddy Power/ladbrokes/william hill) on a home victory when the Baggies have not won at their own ground in the league since January 1st. Cardiff meanwhile have not won away since September in the top flight and are 4/1 (BETVICTOR) the three points. Those looking for a bet could do worse than take Jordan Mutch in the scorer markets as the player grabbed two in the last game and carries a strong scoring threat from midfield.

RECOMMENDATION: Jordan Mutch to score first v West Brom, 18/1 (bet365)
Jordan Mutch to score anytime v West Brom, 13/2 (bet365)

ARSENAL v MAN CITY, Saturday 29th March, 17:30, non-live, Sky Sports

A poor week has seen Arsenal slip from title contenders to looking over their shoulders about the fourth Champions League slot with Man City next in town. The Gunners are a brittle side and last thing they need is a City side firing on all cylidners and I can not believe the price on them to beat Arsenal. Let us look at the recent record of the Gunners against their title rivals, they shipped six against Chelsea, five against Liverpool and six against City, to me than the Citizens are a must bet.

RECOMMENDATION: Man City to beat Arsenal, 23/20 (BETVICTOR)
