I thought I'd post a few of my workouts on here.  At the moment I'm taking it easy (it's been christmas), but I'm going to start incresing my workload now the new year has begun...  Any Q's feel free to ask and I will try my best to answer.

Quick circuit : run through twice with no breaks, to warmup do 5 mins of various kicks/punches and a light stretch, also stretch properly after -

  • 20 x fast pressups
  • 20 x Reverse dips
  • 20 x burpees
  • 20 x v-ups
  • 20 x back bridge
  • 60 x shoulder circles
  • 3 x wrist roller
  • 3 min x shadow boxing

Friends,

How about following this protocol for diaries ?

1. Who ever wants to have a diary will start a new topic in diary section of the forum.

2. The subject line of the diary will "Diary : Name-of-member". The Name-of-memeber should be replaced with the login name while posting. I have started my diary, probably other can look at it before starting thiers.

Today I have played squash for the first time ever, I am a bit embarrassed to say I have been neglecting training for the last month, I've got a small injury to my hand from something non-sports related for the last month hence I have not been able to train as hard as I like and haven't been able to hit anything (or anyone!).

I really enjoyed squash, going again on Sunday, I never train on Saturdays, thankfully got a cheap racket from ebay!

Well, hardly the most up to date diary on the forum but today I did an easy one :

3 x 3 mins - fast skipping

3 x 3 mins - heavy bag

2 x short rounds - fast combos on heavy bag held by partner

Weights (in order) : one-arm row, flat bench press, freeweight squats, reverse dips, 21's, hyperextentions and knee-to chest

Then a good stretch...

I've been struggling to find the time lately with work commitments, I've been doing a mix of weights and bodyweight, I'm looking forward to warmer weather when I can go out my local park and do some sparring!
