I am an over 45 year old women, 10 pounds overweight, and completely out of shape from the hips up.  I walk alot but menopause has made my hips, waist, back, arms, and tummy a mess.  I can do all exercises except impact and am ready to start.  I am motivated and will make the time.  I just do not know where to begin.  Any help here would be appreciated.  I know a grreat deal about vitamins, food sources for vitamins, food plans, and supplements.  Thanks

1. Clean-up your diet.

2. Drink at least 3 Litres of water a day.

3. Start with walking as exercise. 45 mins a day, prefereably in the morning. The increase the speed to a brisk walk after a month. The next month make it to a jog. See how you have progressed. If you are ready to take on more challenges in terms of strenght exercies hang around on this forum and watch the posts to learn.

4. Take a weekly day off.
