Sifu Michael Farquharson has been an instructor in Kung Fu since 1997 and has successfully taught at Jacksons Lane Community Centre in Highgate, London since 1999.
He teaches adults as well as children with excellent results. His students have won medals in both fighting and forms competitions.
Michael is currently instructing in Seven Stars Praying Mantis Kung Fu -Master Lee Kam Wing branch under direction of Master Derek Frearson and Sifu Alan Smith.
He is a member of the(ITSWA) and an active member of the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA).
Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu was created by Wong, a Shaolin disciple many hundreds of years ago. It is an elite fighting system which still remains effective today. The art has spread internationally as a testament of its effectiveness.
