That's is the problem we CAN'T push it to the side anymore...as they got rid of the Hard Shoulder as it says it REDUCES!!! accidents.. It takes me up 2 hours to do 50 miles

They didn't get the choice though did they. I agree with 'the idiot below' we must get roads open quicker. In the UK we close roads for hours whereas in say France they push the debris to the side and get on with it

May take 13 hours to re open but think of the poor guy that died and their family! I think they would have preferred a 13 hour delay than the news they got that day!

I cannot believe it takes over 13 hours to re-open a motorway even after the most severe accident. Today must have cost millions in lost hours and deliveries. Absolute nonsense

M-25 ! BIGGEST CAR PARK IN EUROPE AND NEVER FREE OF ROADWORKS FOR WIDENING - WHY COULD NOT THIS COUNTRY BUILD IT UP WITH A FORWARD VIEW OF 25 YEARS INSTEAD OF DOING EVERTTHING ON THE CHEAP AND AS A QUICK FIX ?? WE ARE REALLY GOVERNED BY COMPLETE IDIOTS WITHOUT AN OUNCE OF COMMON SENSE AND PRACTICALITY
