I commute everyday from Stevenage to Weybridge can anybody explain why the latest roadworks at junction 16 are causing so many delays clockwise at about 15.30 we didn,t have this trouble when they widened the heathrow stretch.Also your website is totally inaccurate ie no reported delays or slow moving traffic????

*  message by guest at 25/05/2009 21:01:47

Slow traffic caused by cows on the road! so i hear :-) Been stuck here for an hour now ahhh.

*  message by guest at 22/05/2009 15:44:12

The delay's have been due to the government not approving the finances until this Wednesday work is now due to start between 16 and 18 on the 27th May

*  message by guest at 20/05/2009 16:06:44

Skanska has not run out of money - that is ridiculous!

*  message by guest at 11/05/2009 17:00:40

the delay in the start of the works is because Skanska, the contractor has run out of money

*  message by guest at 03/04/2009 08:42:07

the land being prepared to the north west between 16 and 17 is for a contractor's compound for the widening of the M25. The site clearance on both sides is preparatory for the widening works which start on 27th April.

*  message by guest at 31/03/2009 16:07:07

Anyone know what the reason for the land development work alongside both sides of the motorway (1 mile North of J16)is all about? Is it an additional Services Area or slip road?

*  message by guest at 24/03/2009 19:13:27

most of the problems are normally caused by people looking at crashes on the over side of the road. horrible

*  message by guest at 23/02/2009 12:59:11

Does anyone know what caused the jam yesterday at Rickmansworth.

*  message by guest at 22/02/2009 20:55:26

My daughter left Basingstoke at 5.30 tonight and is still on M25 heading for Dunstable. Now been 3 hours and has a 3year old in the car !!! NOT GOOD

*  message by guest at 22/02/2009 20:15:53

My daughter has been held up at the J16/J17 turnoff for over an hour now since 7 p.m. Traffic really slow

*  message by guest at 06/02/2009 19:16:53

clockwise heavy snow falling, speed about 50mph junction 3-4

*  message by guest at 06/02/2009 11:26:46

Am hoping to travel to Hampshire early evening today - wondered if the motorways seem to running just now? not too much snow etc. No snow in Norfolk so hard to make a call whether or not it would be safe to travel?

*  message by guest at 06/02/2009 07:17:08

Just abandoned having to collect family from Stansted, the M40 junction 4 to M25 at junction 1 is unreal, couldnt see a foot in front of me...steer well clear, heavy snow forecast in the next hour!!

*  message by guest at 26/01/2009 18:48:58

This is ssuch a clever website - I'm glad my friend told me about it..,

*  message by guest at 08/01/2009 16:58:54

I agree. The detail issued by the radio station has no relevance. I travelled anti clock (10:30 ish) and only slowed for approx 1/2 mile before J27 M11. Only the arsoles who continue to fly up the outside and push in serve to slow everthing down. Even Traffic Line 1200 was hopelessly out of touch despite an enhanced report timed only 5 mins before I got to the closure. Ah well, you know you love it really

*  message by guest at 08/01/2009 14:22:00

the problem is the radio stations- silly idiots who pass on things such as go off m25 then onto a10 then rejoin m25-which when people get there as i did this morning due to the 13mile shutdown of motorway between j27 and j23- this junction was also shut off! SO DO NOT ALLOW RADIO STATIONS AND THE IDIOTS WHO RUN THEM TO GIVE OUT SUCH FALSE INFORMATION TO THE ALREADY HARASSED SUFFERING TRAVELLERS!

*  message by guest at 27/12/2008 14:00:07

Beagle on the motorway!

*  message by guest at 27/12/2008 12:41:44

This is so boring. I might die in this traffic jam. And I'm 15.

*  message by guest at 25/12/2008 12:36:31

I enjoy the toll.

*  message by guest at 16/12/2008 16:57:02

The Dartford Crossing has consistently been worse since the tolls have been increased.

*  message by guest at 14/12/2008 12:20:19

Increase toll..RUBBISH! Has doubled travel times, frustration leading to some very bad driving,bad advertising and NO reason to what this extra 100 of thousands per day is being put towards. GREAT TIMING, BEFORE XMAS AND ON TOP OF THE CC. Assuming the decision makers are having a stress free xmas!Ohh but thanks for making it free between 10-6am, i travel alot during that time.

*  message by guest at 05/12/2008 14:39:32

Thanks to the Dartford toll increase my Friday journey is now up to 2h30 longer. I'm sure this is good for the environment!

*  message by guest at 24/11/2008 17:01:06

*  message by guest at 21/11/2008 17:10:31

Say no to the increase in Toll which is causing all this grief, Toot @ the Toll = NO Toll pass it on...Up the revolution:-)
