Thanks to the relative ease with which concepts can be taken to execution in the virtual world, online arcade games are becoming increasingly sophisticated year by year. A good example of the innovation taking place in this field is “Spin Win,” a fixed odds game that takes the notion of prize wheels to a totally new level. It can now be found at Bet365 and other major Internet casinos.

The Spin Win display is divided into two basic sections, with the control panel on the left and the game wheel on the right. The overall colour scheme is blue and orange, which gives the screen a very powerful look. The Spin Win Logo can be seen at the top left corner of the screen, while the player’s Balance of funds can be viewed in the upper right corner.

The Spin Win wheel has a yellow central hub surrounded by six concentric rings divided into segments. Most of those segments feature multiplier values, while others have blue arrows that serve as exits to the next ring. From one to one hundred blue balls can be released from the hub, and the object is spin them so that they escape from one level to the next for the opportunity to obtain ever higher scores. The two inner most rings have no associated values, while the outermost ring is worth 100X.

To begin a game of Spin Win, first select the number of balls to put in play from 1 to 100. This is accomplished by using the double sets of up/down arrows flanking the “No. of Balls” counter at the top of the control panel. The outer arrows allow the quantity to be raised or lowered in increments of five, while the inner arrows permit adding or subtracting balls one at a time.

Next, pick the “Stake per Ball” to wager on the control panel by using the up/down arrows next to the Stake indicator. The available amounts are €0.05, €0.10, €0.15, €0.20, €0.25, €0.30, €0.40 and €0.50. The “Total Stake” counter will show the full amount of the wager, from €0.05 minimum to €50 maximum.

Clicking on the round green “Go” button in the middle of the control panel will set the game in motion. The desired number of blue balls will pass from the hub into the innermost ring, which is made up of five segments—two exits and three segments with no value. The balls will spin clockwise around the ring until they all come to a halt. Those balls resting on an exit will be released into the second ring, but those on the other segments are lost and frozen out of place.

Again, the remaining balls will spin clockwise inside the second ring, which is made up of two exits and six valueless segments. Once more, the balls that stop on exits will escape to the third ring, and the others will be lost. Any balls that advance to the third ring are guaranteed of scoring, as this ring consists of a dozen segments, including four exits, five 2X multipliers and three 5X multipliers.

The process continues to the fourth ring, where there are five exits, nine 10X multipliers and four 20X multipliers. Then comes the fifth ring with three exits and 22 segments worth either 30X or 50X. Should a ball manage to escape from the fifth level and reach the sixth, it will turn into a gold ball, the entire game wheel will light up and the payout for each ball making it all the way through is 100X. Total “Winnings” are displayed at the bottom of the control panel, along with the “No. of active balls left” at the completion of each ring.
