Bookmakers have moved quick to price up the games after Wednesday (June 19th) saw the announcement of all fixtures for the 2013/14 Football season. Here is our guide to the best of the early bets from the opening three weeks of Premier League action.

Defending champions Man United will begin their campaign under David Moyes (it feels weird writing and no doubt reading that) at Swansea. Bookmakers make them 4/5 (CORAL) to see off the Welsh side as they have done in four of their last five meetings. The draw has been the result in two of the last three meetings between the sides in Wales and can be backed at 14/5 (SKYBET/BETVICTOR/STAN JAMES) and a Swansea victory is priced at 9/2 (paddy Power/BWIN).

Jose Mourinho will begin his second spell as Chelsea boss with a home game against Hull and they are as short as 2/9 (GENERAL) for victory against the Premier League newboys. A shock Hull victory is 14/1 (GENERAL) while the draw is 11/2 (GENERAL).

Manuel Pellegrini begins his time at Man City at home to Newcastle and he will be confident of victory as the Premier League runners-up have won the last seven meetings between these sides. Throw in the fact that Newcastle have had a terrible summer and 4/11 (CORAL) will likely form the basis of many opening day accumulators. City have been handed a good start and are the 23/10 favourites with 888 Sport to be top come September 3rd.

The pick of the bets from the opening games is in taking Norwich to get something from their home game with Everton. The Canaries lost just four games at home last season while the Merseysiders won just four away games. Throw in the fact that Wigan under Roberto Martinez were often slow starters and that Norwich beat Everton at Carrow Road last season and odds of 5/2 (betfred) on a home win look very generous.

The pick of the games on the second weekend is clearly the one between Man United and Chelsea with this game very likely to be moved for television. United are 6/5 (GENERAL) for victory and they have won three of the last four league meetings between the sides at Old Trafford. Chelsea did win here last season though that was when the title was secured. If you think think they can win this then they can be backed at 2/1 (BWIN) while the draw is a best priced 12/5 (BWIN).

The pick of the bets could be in taking Aston Villa to get something from their home game with Liverpool. Both sides ended the season well and Liverpool will always start the season over-rated. Villa have a lot of promising young talent and at 14/5 (SKYBET) look value.

The pick of the games in week three is either Man United travelling to Anfield under former Everton boss David Moyes or `Arsenal hosting Tottenham in the North London derby both of which I would expect to be moved for television.

The pick of the bets looks West Ham at home to Stoke in a game between a very strong home side and a side very weak on their travels. The Hammers are available at 15/13 (BWIN) which looks very generous considering the Potters won just two games on their road last season while the London side lost just four games at their own ground.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Norwich to beat Everton, 5/2 (betfred)
SILVER:West Ham to beat Stoke, 15/13 (BWIN)
BRONZE: Aston Villa to beat Liverpool, 14/5 (SKYBET)
