Premier League Sunderland travel to Championship side Fulham`s Craven Cottage tomorrow evening (19:45) as the two clubs prepare to replay their FA Cup tie, their initial meeting ending as a goalless draw. The reward for the victor will be a fifth round game away at Bradford City`s Valley Parade on Sunday 15th February, the Bantams having previously knocked out Premier League leaders Chelsea in their fourth round encounter.

Despite Sunderland flailing in the top tier of English football somewhat, they are the 13/8 favourites with Stan James to pick up the win away from home. A cluster of bookmakers are offering a draw at 2/1 whilst betway are offering 19/2 on the match ending goalless after 90 minutes for the second time in succession. A win for Fulham can be backed at 12/5 with most betting establishments.

Gus Poyet`s men have played just one game since their match with Fulham at the Stadium of Light. This was also a home game, against Burnley in the Premier League, and eventually ended in a 2-0 victory for the Black Cats.

Both goals came in the opening 45 minutes for the Tyneside club, Connor Wickham breaking the deadlock before Jermain Defoe grabbed his first goal for his new club after signing from MLS franchise Toronto FC. The 32-year-old former England international is the favourite to grab a goal at any time against Fulham, available at 15/8 with bet365. Their most potent goalscorer in their last five away games, however, has been Adam Johnson whose efforts against Manchester City and Newcastle have contributed to his overall tally of five goals in all competitions.

Another former England international, Johnson is a 4/1 shout (betfred, Totesport) to earn himself a goal at any time against the Whites. He`s 10/1 (betfred, Coral, Totesport) to open the scoring.

Sunderland`s recent Premier League form has been respectable, having picked up five points from their previous five games.

Fulham have also only played one match since their away draw against Premier League opposition. This was a game against Blackburn Rovers, fought out this weekend and ending in a 2-1 defeat for Kit Symons` men.

The Cottagers found themselves 1-0 down at half time thanks to Ben Marshall`s opener and things got a whole lot worse when Jordan Rhodes put the North West side two to the good on the 60th minute. Six minutes later, Ross McCormack pulled one back though this proved to be too little too late.

This result was an extension of the 15th placed side`s turbulent time in the league. Whilst they have recorded three wins in their last five games at home, they have also tripped up against the struggling Brighton (2-0) and conceded five without reply at promotion hopefuls Watford. Sunderland can be backed at 10/3 (Betvictor, boylesports, Coral, Totesport) to also win in 90 minutes whilst keeping a clean sheet.

Should Fulham score, however, their best chance must be through the aforementioned McCormack who also bagged a hat-trick against the floundering Nottingham Forest in his team`s 3-2 victory, and another goal in their last five at home against Sheffield Wednesday. This game ended 4-0 to the Whites.

The former Leeds man has hit the back of the net 11 times in all competitions and is 11/5 (Betvictor, paddy Power) to add to his account tomorrow night. A massive 100/1 with william hill says the Glaswegian can grab his second home hat-trick in succession.

Both paddy Power and william hill have 10/1 on both teams winning the game on penalties after the requisite 90 minutes and extra time have been fought out.
